Just getting the thread started. We have gone more that halfway through the conference slate, but this will be the first pairing with 8th-place Oral Roberts. Their only win in the conference was against last-place St Thomas. With that having been said... St Thomas just took leage-leader Omaha to a 5th set! The parity is a little wild in this League right now, so no under-estimating anyone, I guess. I'm hoping for a sweep in the Mabee Center on Thursday. Interesting that they went from an out-of-regulation low-ceiling rec-center court with roll-away bleachers: .... To a 10,154 - seat, cavernous, oval-shaped basketball arena in the Mabee Center:

Coyotes Sweep!
NDSU also swept the Roos.
Looks like we might just climb out of the messy middle of the standings. Our schedule is a bit lighter on the stretch run…

From the postgame article:
“The Coyotes put together a well-balanced match, spreading the offensive love with five hitters notching at least five kills apiece. Freshman outside hitter Samantha Laird led the offensive attack with eight kills on a .208 hitting clip. Senior middle blocker Madison Harms followed with seven kills on 19 swings and just one error to hit .316 on the night while adding six blocks and two service aces. Sophomore libero Kamryn Farris tallied a match-high 18 digs and added two service aces and one kill.“
As of last week Harms took over the top spot in the league with 1.23 blocks per set……she got 2 per set in this match.
Serving for the Yotes has lately become a big strength, too.
