Seems like the Yotes have been quite impressive tonight, despite this being their first real game together. I figured it would be at least a month into the season before this team could look impressive. I'm going to jump the gun and suggest that this team can compete for a title this year.

On another note I hope the administration stops this catering to the SF fan base. Embarrassing attendance. Move every game to Vermillion if it’s gonna suck then let it suck at home.

I was just going to say that weeknight games in Vermillion get better attendance than this. Is the SF Sports Authority paying enough to make this make sense?

First time USD has scored 100 against a D1 opponent since putting up 105 against UNO a couple years ago, and those are the only two times it has happened since completing the transition to D1. This could be a very good team here in Vermillion.

UT-RGV came out (understandably) aggravated in the second half, defended the entire court, made things messy and fast-paced, and at least looked much more athletic. Yet we still won by 21 after dropping a cool 100 for the game. We’ll need to work on our press breaking, but overall, this team is pretty awesome!

I assume this is part of the Sanford sponsorship? Probably. Good call. I just get sick of hearing how long the drive is and that’s why they don’t come. SF outside of the loyal group doesn’t support Coyote athletics. Needs to change.

I attended tonight. A lot to be excited about. The usual anemic USD crowd, but beyond that I'm actually fired up about attending more games. A much more athletic team with a lot of potential. Gonna take some time to figure out who does what, but actually enthused for a change about driving down to Vermin to watch. Go Yotes!

Awesome. Great first half. Eric has to be happy with that. Let’s hope for a good year
