Just got home. Tailgate atmosphere was dead, but I was actually pretty happy with the crowd inside the dome. As for the game, that was as sloppy a game as the Yotes have played all season. We are at least 3-4 TDs better than Sac State. Should have been over at halftime, honestly. But that's how this team operates. Do enough to win but never win flashy. Winning in December, hell yes. I'm hungover already. Good night Yotes and God bless South Dakota. Get ready for a battle next weekend. Our normal tailgate spot was hoppin. A new low for fireball consumption. Great win, but got to play a whole lot better to win next week. |

I'm happy for Carson Camp. He somehow got a chance to play today, against his former team, and did well. I didn't need to see it happen in person against USD, but am happy for him nonetheless. He is absolutely a capable QB. Not sure where his football journey goes from here, if anywhere, but I am happy he could play some meaningful football today.

From my perspective, that was the most engaged crowd I have ever seen in Verm. Not the fullest, but definitely the loudest. Need to amplify that for next week. I would agree. I would rather have 6,200 engaged fans than 9,000 who don’t care. It was electric a d we didn’t wait until 3rd down to make noise. |

Is there a watch party for this game in Sioux Falls? I have to work so I couldn't take that much time off to go to the game, but would like to take a couple hours off to watch most of the game with other Yotes. JJ’s Wine & Spirits Watched it until halftime at JJ's. Kind of boring as to the watch bunch. Should have stayed there. Food was good. GET THIS. Went to Let It Fly for the 2nd half (Mike Miller's Sports Bar) and they had 20 TV's with just the Jackrabbits game. Traveled to Overtime where I often go--- SAME THING. They didn't have ESPN+. Ran over to Buffalo Wild Wings. SDSU game and nothing else. Ended up at a dive bar where I know the owner and watched the rest of the game. As a USD fan, I kind of felt like the ugly step child cowering beneath the almighty Jackrabbits machine. Frankly, I went back to work pissed off. |

What a day! Tremendous win for our program. Did what we had to do to get the job done. With a cleaner game, I think we probably win handily - But that’s football. I do not claim to be a football expert, however, anyone else sick of the wildcat play ?
Thankful for only one turnover. The Scoop and score and a deep shot for a TD made for an exciting environment. Have to give a lot of credit to Camp. He brought new life to that offense and the starter could not get anything going. I never really had a doubt about the outcome. I felt like we controlled the entire game, although the score board does not indicate that.
Survive and advance. Put your armor on. Next week will be a classic.

Great win. Nice to have a plan to milk the clock with a run game with the lead, and to execute. I’ve never seen the ref change the time clock that many times in my life. Must’ve happened 8-10 times. Go Yotes.
