When tickets are removed from an account, their money is refunded and those tickets are then removed from their account and void. Let's say you screenshot a ticket before it was voided. That bar code would no longer work and wouldn't be scanned at the door. If a ticket doesn't scan, that person will not be admitted into the Dome. As long as they know how to do a VLOOKUP in Excel, this is very easy to compare and contrast who should and should not get tickets. Further, anybody who has saved tickets to their Apple Wallet and has them voided, the QR code will gray out and it will say "VOIDED" where the barcode number should be. Anybody using a screenshot will be denied at the door and probably sent to the ticket office to resolve. Hopefully they'll send an email saying they purchased tickets when not allowed and their tickets were voided and card refunded. Paper trail. There's also a couple of other things they could do, but this team is doing a great job for what they are working with. A 2 FTE office juggling postseason football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball isn't easy. Morons at Bisonville are screaming "LAWSUITS" with their pitchforks and Lutefisk. I would take a USD grad lawyer over some budget lawyer they find in Sisseton. Go Yotes. Fill the Dome with Red. Bummed we can't make it this weekend, but we'll be watching. Now that's some funny shit right there. |

That has to be cleaned up on our end. I can't even imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth if the game was in Fargo and USD fans were buying up tickets. |

Just got done reading the Bisonville thread. If there are NDSU fans with seats in section N already, our ticket office has really screwed up. They had the promo code listed on their website. That's ridiculous. Season ticket holders should have longer than Tuesday at 9AM to claim their regular seats and Howling Pack members only, which they should check before issuing, until even later in the week. Who cares about the money. 85% of it goes to the NCAA anyway. Screw NDSU. If the game was in Fargo, we'd probably only have access to the required 200 allotment up in the corner where you'd have a better view of the Turtle Mountains than the game.

Each round will generate more interest from casual fans, and last week was a pretty good crowd (even if you dont count the 12 Sac St fans/parents). May as well be folks in red instead of green. |

This sounds like a mess. If I buy tickets tomorrow I sure would like to know that I HAVE tickets. Reading all these posts, I think I'll watch it on TV. At least then I know I have a seat.

Let’s not use this as an excuse to not show up Saturday. As has been said this team deserves as much red in the dome as possible and we need to be loud- as we know the bison fans will be regardless of their number. |
