Head coach Kate Popovec-Goss was suspended November for the duration of nonconference play. Armelia Horton has served as acting head coach for these first 11 games.



Old Dominion transfer and leading scorer Kaylen Nelson has missed the last five games with an ankle injury. She had averaged 15 points in the first five games. Alex Rouse has averaged 12 points and shot 56 percent from the field in her absence.

Looks like Bradley kept it close up until the 4th quarter where we out scored them 25-6. Great win, but definitely should’ve had a more solid lead by halftime. But still to win by 21 at home is a good day.

Had plans and couldn't watch the game. Will probably try to check out the replay at some point. Don't know how the Yotes played overall but looks like they outrebounded Bradley by quite a bit and also held them to 6 points in both the first and fourth quarters and under 50 overall. Both good to see.

Watched the game. Coyotes for some reason really only played
Yote bb the last Q. Couldn't hit 3s to start, got O boards but still couldn't make shots, gave up uncontested 3s when in zone, etc. But finally rolled.

If you haven’t watched it, maybe do yourself a favor and just watch the fourth quarter. First three quarters seemed uninspired. No offensive purpose or flow. At one point we had more turnovers than made FG. Defense was not great, thankfully they didn’t finish some easy shots. I believe their leading scorer did not play. Hoping we come back from break focused and ready to roll.

Any time you miss a ton of shots you can look flat or uninspired. I thought the first half issue was just missing open shots. I always say that even if you're a big favorite, the ball still needs to go in the basket.

I did think the first 6-7 minutes of the 3rd was really bad, but it was good to see a 25-2 run in response.
