Any insight into why? Kind of strange to give up a HC job to come to USD as a position coach and them bolt after a terrific year. Odd It's easy to find good WR coaches out there, so not worried especially with a veteran room.

Interesting move on paper, leaving a head coaching position to move to SD and become a WR coach only to leave the profession a year later. How easy it is to forget that everyone has their own complications in life that aren't compatible with pursuing a career like this.

Great guy that does the right thing I believe this to be more accurate… secondhand news but it sounds like more of family health issue than a football move. Sounds like a pretty sad deal. Yes, I just heard the reason too and I commend Coach Bagnell for making that choice for his family. Tough pill to swallow as a coach, but family comes first in these situations. Best wishes to all of them.
