Check out the hot dog stand in near corner right side of end zone. Talk about low overhead.

Some great, but somewhat foggy, memories of the student section festivities during the games at Inman field.

That track around the football field looks like dirt and has at least one car on it. Did they pick up the track surface in the offseason? Surely they weren't running events on that?
I got to campus about 30 years after the Dome opened. It's nuts to me looking at this picture and thinking about how I should be able to see the library addition, Churchill-Haines, Beacom, and the Law School. About the only part of this picture that hasn't been built over is the playing field itself I think. When I was in school they did have a marker placed at the old 50 to help preserve some memory of Inman.
I feel like I've heard a story about that observatory in the bottom left corner. Something about it still standing somewhere else today. Does anyone know about that?

We have influenza going through our house, so I'm kidding the spring game today. How's the crowd? Watching the live stream, it looks about how I expected.

Todd Drummond had a good looking series there.

Todd Drummond had a good looking series there. I kinda liked it too. He did some young kid stuff - like throwing back across the field one time, but it worked. Looks like he has a knack for moving the chains.

Looks like he has a knack for moving the chains. There’s a significant drop off between Bouman and our back-ups, but Todd has definitely looked the second-most capable. Still a crap load of INTs today (good for the DB’s though).

In theory your statement is correct. With the experience Aidan has and with the black jersey on he should’ve been a lot crisper.. one nice throw to Martens and that's about it

I don't know if the game has changed, if FCS football has gotten better, or if we are just getting bigger and better athletes now. I'm thinking a combination of all of them. But these Yotes look significantly bigger, stronger, and more athletic than the guys I played with in the early 2010s. Or maybe I'm just getting old. Either way, fun to see.

Was at the spring scrimmage today. Definitely hard to look efficient offensively today when our best offensive players were not participating in the scrimmage. Nice to get some under the radar guys some work though.
Defense definitely looked sharp at times and the top defensive line was disruptive at times. Hard hitting and swarming D going on.

LOL, you're not old. Add another 20 years to that and you'll start feeling old. You're young kid, enjoy it.

I'm finally grown out of kidding myself with the "put me in, I could make that play" comments from my seats on game days.

Defense line looks good and deep. First team linebackers were Gary Bryant III , Nate Ewell and Tevon McKevliy and are fast. One player I like was Rus Reed he is 6-4 205 looked fast as he rushed the quarterback he is Chad Greenway nephew.
