I'd like to discuss the recent NCAA ruling and its potential impact on college football, particularly in relation to recruiting and the future success of programs. Over the past 15 years, I've closely followed USD recruiting and have a good understanding of what works well for the program. I'm interested in hearing everyone's opinions on how this new ruling will affect the Missouri Valley and the USD Football program.

We were just talking about this today. The P4 is pulling away. It's going to be tough on the next level. Whatever happens and how this all unfold, USD and the other Dakota schools need to make their way to that next level.

The most likely outcome I’ve read is that it will hurt recruiting as big programs will have more scholarships to offer, but fuel the transfer portal even more as a greater number of P4 athletes will look for playing time. All in all, it will allow the guys who are happy to be walk-on practice players at the P4 programs to be on scholarship while increasing FBS to FCS transfers.
