This may be a Summit League topic but I will actually start this off talking about Football and the MVFC. Gone are the days of multiple non D1 home games and 2 FBS payday games. Finally the Yotes have an accurate thermometer to take their temperature. It will be conference games the majority of the season instead of just on 4 instances. This way we can really see where we are at as a program. I believe the prior scheduling arrangement made it a bit more difficult to measure the program.
In basketball and all other sports the Summit League also gives an accurate measuring stick as to where the Yotes stack up. No more not knowing as it will be very apparent based on conference record how things are shaking out.
