another strong point is during our transition schedule, we never had a UW-Lacrosse D3 non scholarship loss at home, or a loss to usf or another near loss to usf like und did. we always won and won impressivley.

Jackl,
Thank you for your interest in USD athletics.
Then again you went first so you have that going for you.

I am of the opinion that USD should be ranked if they beat North Dakota but should not be if they don't. Right now I simply believe until USD proves that they can win on the road they should not be ranked. The lack of FCS games should hurt USD in the rankings IMO. I look at it as USD is 3-2 going into North Dakota.
Luckily this will all be a moot point next year. USD will be forced to prove themselves with mainly FCS games with a majority of those in the MVFC like it should be.

Does it hurt deep down in your gut not to go that one last step to evil town?

jackl is correct actually. IMHO USD is not a top 25 team. They only have played 5 FCS games so far. That seems kind of ridiculous this far into the season. 5 FCS games so far. 2 FBS games so far. 1 FCS game remaining. 8 of the 11 were FCS or FBS. It is called "transitional" scheduling. From here on out, we are full FCS or FBS. Every school including SDSU went through transitional with games against lower opponents. That's the way it is, but all you can do is spout off in a negative way. Now regarding SDSU game in Sioux Falls? Obviously we won't be playing them, but I would take all the action I could on that game this year. For no other reason than comparitive scores. But you know the real reason we will never know? Because the Bunnies AD bowed to "booster pressure" and avoided playing the Coyotes . Had they agreed Coyotefan, then we would be talking about 9 FCS or FBS games. The cream of the crop in the MVC is better than we are, no doubt in my mind. But there may be only 3 teams I would classify that way. NDSU, UNI, and ISU (red). After that, we can play with anybody in the league. Next year might be rougher, given all the seniors we lose, but then again, there is a piss pot full of players redshirted, so who knows. ISUr is the "cream of the crop" yet YSU, ISUb aren't? Why, due to their handing it to you in a rather embarassing manner? Three D1 wins is 2 fewer then SDSU has this year. That's a fact.

the fact that usd & und got votes in the coaches poll, but no other poll proves that the 2 coaches in great west voted both of you schmucks like #2 and #3. you both should be embarassed to be fans of those teams. however, to USD's credit, they didnt play 3 naia teams and then get boners over it like und.
USD is about the 30th' best FCS team und is about the 60th best fcs team.

Not saying USD couldn't win, but ISU (Blue) and Youngstown State are two good teams as well. I think these 5 teams as well as SDSU, USD would need to play really well to win.
