USD is shooting well to start and the Yotes are up 14-10 early on. UNC has hit 3 treys to keep them in the game but ya can just tell that no one can match up to Hegge or Boss for that matter. I believe it's only a matter of time until the Yotes pull away in this game.

UNC is defending Big Sky Champs, but that doesn't matter cause the Yotes are the better team.

It's been hard to post on both games listening to one and watching the other. The USD women played a very solid first half and took their biggest lead at 40-27. They have been hustling all over the court. Boss is a monster on defense. Hegge all around very good game. Other players really starting to pitch in as well.

46-27 Yotes just 2 minutes into the second half. The Yotes are steamrolling Northern Colorado, a good team.

I will say I like Rich Rostie but the presentation is horrible. There have been instances where there have been commercials going for portions of the game of a minute or longer at least two different times. They missed the entire last score by the Yotes and when they came back from a break it was halftime. That is completely unacceptable.

48-30 Yotes. Right now this USD basketball team is not oozing with but are exploding with confidence. They look so good out there tonight. If UNC didn't hit a few threes they would have basically no offense.

The question shouldn't be can the Yotes compete in the Summit. It's not can the Yotes finish in the middle of the pack. A more appropriate question is.....Can the Yotes win the Summit in their first year?

Two treys by Roach and it's 54-30 Yotes. This is unbelievable. This team is on a major roll tonight. It is absolutely amazing how far this team has come in only a little over a year. Ryun Williams is doing a tremendous job right now. The Yote players are doing the same.

The Jackrabbit women got hammered at home by Kansas State tonight by roughly 20, or it was in the last couple of minutes. Their fans were thinking they would win by 10 or more.

This isn't Midland Lutheran folks, this is the defending Big Sky Champs. Boss has now become the all time blocks leader. She has about 8 tonight.

This is awsome tonight.

Williams post game comments: Team came with a determined mentality on both ends of the court. Liked response after UNI game. Only difference tonight was that the shots were falling. in the second half USD was doing good things against screens. UNC is good with what they do. The length of Boss and Hegge helps us. D knew where they were going with the ball. Smart performance tonight. Got confidence and mentality going early. It took a couple of early threes to get it going and it became contagious. Alot of easy baskets early. Attacked well. Roste said good assists by the guards to the bigs. 25 total assists to only 13 turnovers. Team finished well tonight. Roste talked about Boss breaking all time blocks record and all time single game blocks mark at 7. All in the same night. Boss uses her length well by keeping her spacing. Boss has alot of blocks outside. Moves feet extrememly well. Ryun very proud of Jody Boss. Two big games back to back for her. Team had 10 offensive boards. Tempest Wilson active tonight on glass. Kids were in the right spots tonight. Positive going into finals week with big win. Now it's time to focus on academics. Going to Utah and Idaho next. Good fan support. Fans were good tonight. Band was awsome as always.
