While I mentioned LK on the men's side, it should be noted Amber is currently at 1566 points. She is right now at #5.
1. Mandy K. 2142 points 2. Bridget Y 1605 3. Karrie Wallen 1594 4. Ann Pancoast 1591
The women have seven games plus likely some postseason 8th game or more. Most people say she is the second best Yote ever so it is fitting she will sit #2 at the end of the year. I think 1700+ is realistic. Good luck Amber and thanks for the memories!

With about 12 minutes left in the game against the Bison, Hegge has outscored the Bison 26 - 16

It looks like she'll easily get #2 on the all-time list. That's a very good job by her. From all schools, USD/NDSU/SDSU, records have been broken with the move up to Div. I. I think it has to do with better players, but I think also because the younger freshman played more minutes as they were literally the better players than a lot of the upper classmen.
I was really impressed by her when I watched her play in Brookings. She was the best player on the court that game. Williams has done a very good job with your team. NDSU will be looking for a new coach after this year. You can guarantee it.

They should recognize her at some point in the game.

Please excuse the thread drift but does anyone know if Hegge has any track eligibility remaining? She is an incredible athlete. If memory serves me correctly, she high jumped 5' 9" in high school, plus was a very successful jumper in her early years USD.

she has a season of outdoor track remaining. She didnt jump last season, but I imagine she will this spring once basketball is over. If she can regain some of that past form, she'll be right in the Summit League jumps mix. Though the Coyote women already have a few jumpers performing well (Kenna Wolter broke the school record in the TJ)

#2 at USD all-time scorer, and picks up another Summit POTW. Amber is a difference maker for the Yotes.
Congrats to a young lady who's brought good positives to the USD athletics.
