14-lb. enson: Your enthusiasm is good (your 20th post on this message board was a request to be a moderator!?!)...grasp of the facts, not so good. But welcome to college athletics and as you enter USD in the fall, be as enthusiastic about your classes, hit the books early and often and you'll do well.

Congratulations on the win at Lamar. It is true. Seekamp is a great player for the yotes. She will need help next year to move up in the Summit. As a fan of the Jackrabbits, I hope you get into the WNIT next year:) By help do you mean the players already on the roster? Such a stupid Jack comment. She will get help, just like you need it.

I have trouble keeping with the spirit of smack threads, personally . . .
The Yotes next year are going to be a handful and a half for the Jacks.
And this is a GOOD thing. The better the teams in the conference get, the better the conference gets, the better seeds in the NCAA's they get, the better the chances of success.
It's all good.
I don't get the reflexive "gotta hate the U" "gotta hate State" thing. Well, yeah, I do. I just think it's stupid.

#1CoyoteFan shows a typical off the cuff remark about a comment for Seekamp needing some help next year. With only a moment of reflection, one might notice the scoring that is on the books for the Yote women is coming from seniors and Seekamp. The stupid comment from the highly decorated and wise CF seems like the leadership that surfaces in the yote corner resembling the cheese commercial waiting for a maturing process! That is what might be considered typical and why many Jack fans have no desire to visit the Dome. Fire away with your most professional and mature wisdom.

You know, if I could...I would go to every game. But I live 4 hours away and that is not possible. SDSU does not have the hottest attendance every year either. In the first round of the tournament no one was there, but the second round it was a South Dakota dominate crowd by a long stretch. USD is getting used to this whole "success" thing. SDSU. not. Just give it time. A fan base will develop and we will be running this state...again. The first round of the SL tournament was sold out, and the stands were full of blue. Just wondering, did you mistake the Sun Belt tournament on tv for the Summit? Oh by the way, SDSU has led in women's SL attendance every year we have been in the conference. You may want to take a peak at your facts first before posting. I understand your young, but the SDSU women, dominated by local athletes from SD and MN have a track record of success that your future school would love to match.

They get to win a few games in the third level NCAA tournament. It is a good start for a new D1 program. Question, how many NCAA tournament wins do the Yotees have? How about WNIT? How many power conference wins does USD have? As mentioned earlier, if USD fans had as much passion for their own teams as hatred for SDSU maybe, just maybe someone may show up to watch a USD team play. By the way, grew up with your head coach. She's a great lady, and a great coach. She, and her teams deserve some support. Maybe you can get off your butt and show up for a home tournament game. If some of you Coyote fans don't start supporting this program, how long do you think she will be around?

jacksfan29--Your comments are laughable as are those by many Jack fans! The jacks have been D1 how long? They were "supposed" to be so far ahead of The U in athletics, but yet the Coyote men have beaten their "all world" guard (who by the way had a terrible tournament game this yr) the first 2 times they played in the Dome, jack women's team that was supposed to be so hot beat a first yr Coyote team by 3 points and lost to SC by over 20?? By the way the jack football team hasn't visited the Dome yet. In other sports the Yotes have just won the SL indoor track meet and many other events. Truth is bunny fans can see the writing on the wall for the future. THE RED SEA is coming!!

True, it is better to support one another until you face each other on the field or court. I know too many idiot Hawks fans that don't get this and just want to hate. I thought the SDSU women were going to fair better, but the SEC has some pretty physical play.

Holy smokes. The haymakers are flying here. Remember folks, this is a smack thread so don't get all worked up when somebody gets up in you're grill. As for Bunny fans, LOL, it's girls basketball, who gives a crap?

As for Bunny fans, LOL, it's girls basketball, who gives a crap? You got it exactly right Mr. Y53. The worst thing that ever happened to boys and mens BBall is girls and womens bball. Now that the 'dream' seasons are over for both the men and the women in Brooksville I hope the jackie fans can deal with the fact that it will be a very long time coming again for them and The Yotes will have a lot to do with that. Go Coyotes!
