Congratulations to Amber for first team all-conference and Jodie for defensive player of the year. I must say I am disappointed that Amber didn't win POY, but Luper is an amazing player as well and stacks up very well in the nation in a few statistical categories. She is no doubt deserving as well and was a fun player to watch.
Good job, ladies and congrats to all the Yotes on a fun first Summit season!!!!!

Congrats to all the Lady Yotes on an amazing regular season. Hopefully it will continue but that remains to be seen. It was an awesome year to be a Lady Coyote fan. They only lost one game at home the entire season. It was awesome watching them defend the dome all season.

Can't argue with Luper winning the player of the year award, but the following comment from her coach comes across with the arrogance often associated with ORU.
"Kevi is the best player in the league, and she doesn't have a close second," ORU women's head coach Jerry Finkbeiner said.

Congrats to Ryun Williams, his great staff and that wonderful group of athletes! What a great year and I would like to apologe to them for the lousy support they received from not only their fellow students but also citizens of Vermillion, Sioux Falls, Yankton and points between and also from other coaches in the dept. Coach Glenn was there and very involved, where was Boots and some others. He does nothing to support other programs and help advertise the department. I hope people catch on to how good this D-1 competition is and get behind it with their bodies and billfolds. Good luck lady Coyotes in the post season, it's going to be tough not having Amber, Jodi and Annie next year, but we have a good group coming back and the 5 new girls will keep the program strong.

I agree. The level of support is borderline embarrassing. Coach W and the ladies were totally awesome and deserved better. Great job gals and coach, and thank you.
