In looking at Drake, the ladies will be facing a team that is playing well of late. They feature the MVC player of the year, a 6'3" center who is averaging over 19 and 12 on the season. No one else on the team averages over 10 points. There is no way this will be an easy game, but I have to believe the Yotes match up well here. Teams have struggled to do well inside against the ladies all season and I expect their post will have to work hard as well. Their second and third leading scorers are 5'5" guards.
As long as the Yotes don't have a game long shooting slump (it has happened), they should be able to take this game.

Nice win for the ladies tonight. It seemed like they missed 10 layups that rolled in and out. Drake got to almost every loose ball and long bounce rebounds but the Yotes still prevailed.
Get your tickets for Monday night when the Yotes host the Colorado Buffaloes. Fill the Dome with Red!!!!

Great win but we need to get some bench help to nkeep this going. We need bigger crowds too. These are important times for USD and we can't let this opportunity slip away. Rest well coaches and players and good luck Monday night.

Despite not playing well, the Yotes still pulled it out. Hopefully the bench can step up and play better on Monday otherwise fatigue will play a factor. Our ladies looked gassed at the end of the game but still kept playing hard. Good job Yotes. See you on Monday night!
