A big thank you tot he Lady Yotes for a great season. Even though last night didn't go as well as we hoped, it was a great year. You gave everyone in Coyote Nation something to be proud of! Also, a shout out to the pep band. They were great all year and really added to the fun atmosphere at the dome. Thanks for all you hard work!

The Lady Yotes Basketball team is the brightest shining light for the University this academic year. I appreciate how hard the team works game in and game out. Alot can be learned from how this teams plays and carries itself in general. Everyone should be proud of this team and they should be proud of themselves. Fairwell to Amber, Jodi and Annie as they were excellent players. I don't think USD has ever had a more lethal one-two punch on the defensive end as far as protecting the basket.
Ryun Williams was very emotional in his post game interview(s) giving credit to everyone but himself. This program is in excellent hands with him at the helm. He even said that he his honored to be the coach of the Women's Basketball team at USD. Class act for sure as is the rest of the team.
Go Yotes.

Thanks to the Ladies and the coaches for a great year of Women's Basketball. They were a great group to watch. Thanks and good luck to the seniors. The band was awesome all year as well for the games. It is really amazing to see the head coach of a college team thank the band on the court after a game and give them a big thumbs up as well. It really shows what Williams is like.

Interestingly, Williams joked in that video (glad we have those by the way) that he tried to recruit Hegge to Wayne State while he was there. Same was true for Jasmine Mosley, who eventually chose USD over Wayne to do 2 sports, basketball and track. Must've been some crazy recruiting battles with Ryun and Chad Lavin!
