Just got a verbal from one of the best high school players in Colorado. Looks like the football recruiting has bled over into basketball for Colorado recruits. Go Yotes!

USD got a verbal commitment from Terrell Brown, a 6-4, 185-pound guard/wing from Colorado on Sunday. Brown already has more than 1,000 points in high school, playing at William J. Palmer High in Colorado Springs.
According to various internet reports he is one of the top high school players in Colorado this year and was being recruited by other small and mid-majors.
Brown, an all-conference player last year who averaged 17.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2 steals a game while shooting .840 from the free throw line, was second-team all-state and first-team all-conference.
Brown joins Nimrod Hilliard as a Coyote recruit from the class of 2011.

It looks like Boots is starting to like athletic/slasher type players. Boots used to rely alot on big beef in the middle and finess outside shooters from the outside. Now it's defense, toughness and athletisism. I like it.
