Very close to the first national champion for USD in D1 T&F. What an awesome showing by the vaulters. Also, Alexa finishes with the 12th best time in the prelims of the 400M hurdles, .34 of a second away from the finals. She has really come on strong to finish the season.
Way to go Yotes!!!!

Buell ends up in 3rd & Grove in 7th. Both will earn All-American status. Wow.
Duling ends up 12th in the 400 hurdle prelims with top 8 advancing to finals. 12th in the nation still pretty impressive.
Granted the Yotes are done for the meet but still kind of neat to look at the current team standings and see the Women tied for 5th in team points.

I agree very nice performance by the Lady Coyotes at nationals. Outstanding job to the entire track & field program for setting high standards and proving that being the best doesn't just mean the best in D2 or the best for mid majors but for some pretty darn close to being the best of all college athletes period.
