Just an FYI but it would be wise to get your tix. Previously the general public wasn't going to have access to tix for this game until Aug. 1. Season tix holders and HP members had priority. That is no longer. USD is now offering a combo pack. You buy tix for the colgate game at 10 bucks and then can buy tix to NDSU at 25 bucks. The kicker is you only have to buy 1 ticket to colgate game and can then order as many tickets for the NDSU game. The NDSU fans are snatching them up with this method.

This is how we got our tickets as well. $35 for one ticket and $25 for each ticket later, why not? Might be a home opener sell out with empty seats.

This is just grand. Unfortunately though it is probably a necessary evil to get the Coyote fan base off their arse.

Agreed... I'm really excited and nervous about our turn out at HWF. It should tell us either we're moving in the right direction or show us just how far we still have to go!

This is the exact reason I was so opposed to this game in SF. NDSU fans are going to outnumber us at a home game. By the time the average USD fan decides to buy a ticket to this game it will be sold out because the NDSU fans are so feverish about buying tickets.
I'd rather they played the game in Vermillion and only gave NDSU its allotment and not even try to sell the game out.
FWIW, I've already bought my tickets to this road game.

what an epic fail by usd, first they had a glitch where you ONLY had to buy 1 colgate game, then 10 NDSU-USD tickets. then today, they were sending out emails to everyone that bought the tickets basically BEGGING them to take the offer to move to the ndsu side.
Now, the website ticket taking is down for the count, un real! ha ha ha. But at least the usd ticket office got things moved around and everyone will be happy. right?
BUT.... i repeat BUT... NDSU fans still consider USD the #2 team in the Dakota's .
NDSU usd sdsu siouxfalls und.

Yep. This whole thing is an embarassing joke. Hope they get it through their skulls after this fiasco that this is the first and last time we should be playing "home" games in Sioux Falls.
USD fans better get on the stick and buy some tickets or puke green and urine colors will take over Howard Wood.

Sadly, I would not be surprised if Bison fans out number Coyote fans 2:1.

I am hearing that if you buy 1 Colgate ticket now, you can go buy as many tickets as you wish for NDSU and tht Bizon fans are doing just that as opposed to having to wait till August 1st. Can anyone verify that this is true or false?
If it is true, I am totally bummed out. But I will say the reality of all this is quite frankly we never have had a motivated fan base or one that travels. USD fans as a whole are apathetic as hell. That has to change or we will never get to the PROMISED LAND of competing for championships. Truthfully i am so prideful but is is just another lesson in futility.
Someone, somehow has to motivate this fan base or in my opinion, there is absolutely zero sense in building a new arena and renovating the Dome.
C'MON. COYTE FANS GET EXCITED. AND JUMP ON BOARD. Playing in the MVC is going to be tough as hell. It makes the old North Central look like a walk in the park.

I tell you what. I wil put my money where my mouth is. I will buy 100 tickets to give to kids or potential fans if 2-3 others will match me.

You heard correct. There was a SNAFU in the online system that many Bison fans were taking advantage of.
I appreciate the fine gesture of buying 100 tix, however, I cannot match that. You are invited to have a few beers at our tailgate though.

I think the problem was folks in Vermillion who f'ed up the website, not those in Sioux Falls. With all due respect, it shouldn't be that hard to get this right no matter where the game is played.

I don't think he was referring to who sold the tickets or f'ed up the website...but more for the fact that this is going to be an NDSU home game since they are the ones buying most of the tickets.

A reminder to all Howling Pack members - today is the last day Howling Pack members have priority to tickets to the NDSU game as all single game tickets become available to the general public tomorrow. If you are a Howling Pack member, there is no need to buy a Colgate ticket to get an NDSU ticket and you can get as many NDSU tickets as you want. ( I would recommend buying both)

Colgate, not Cornell.
