Van Goor plain sucks and I can not find any words to describe how bad rj is. When Van Goor does an interview, I want people to count how many times he says uh and ya know. Its amazing how many times he says it. Kevin Culhane doesn't sound to bad after all. Maybe Steve Emming could come out of retirement and just do football. Van Goor will also give players cute little nicknames, thats not D 1, thats NAIA stuff. I know I am going to take some heat for this, but its just the plain old facts boys and girls.

Van Goor & RJ are both big improvements over the past couple of years. Both are enthusiastic about covering the Yotes. And KVHT back as the flag ship is also a huge improvement. John Thayer's daily sportstalk show is off to a good start. Plus he recently won an award for his work in Chadron, where he worked before joining KVHT. I am guessing the pre & post game shows will be great.

I will second goyotes thoughts. Nobody is perfect, but I will take a kaboom over a holy help me hannah anytime.

Give me the holy help me hannah anytime because the insight that comes with Roste is so much deeper. Plus, while RJ was the "voice" before, he missed a ton of games for other commitments. It's a D-I program...so hopefully he is committed to it or bring back Roste.

I had at quit listening to the games because of RJ, and not just because of the Kabooms. I swear, USD should've had 0 fouls every game and should've been in the bonus 5 minutes into the game.

Let's just say, USD needs D-I broadcasters, which is hard to find in South Dakota apparently.

I don't really care who it is as long as I don't have to listen to Swain this year. Also, I'm hoping the post game show will be long enough that I can leave my seat at the dome and have it still be on when I reach my car.

I did? HMMMMM. Don't recall THAT!

I had to take this past season off for personal and family reasons, but in my years of working for and with The University of South Dakota, I missed 1 game in 1997 because of a raging blizzard. I was doing sideline reports for football then so the play by play went on, just without sideline reports. Sorry about that.

RJ, thanks for chiming in, but all we as fans can ask is that you do a good job and try to keep the "we" stuff & the KABOOM's to a minimum. It's obvious just by listening to your broadcasts that you know what's going on and you know the sport, just some side issues that concern us.

The Kaboom, we & us stuff really doesn't bother me, but to each their own. Glad to have both RJ & VanGoor back on board and even happier to have a much improved Coyote radio network which will allow me to listen to the Yotes without being tethered to my computer.

My 2cents worth is let them be themselves in the broadcast. I would hate people telling me how to do my job. I will say this: RJ is a Coyote through and through. He bleeds Coyote red, so you want to Kaboom us, you damned well better do it. This University unctions best with one of their own. Keep up the good work brother.

I can't agree with Charlie more. Most of the time, by the time you get to your car, Swain had the post game show wrapped up. The worst was road games. He would quickly say the stats and then would always say, well we better wrap it up so we can get on the bus or plane or whatever. Never failed on road games.

Redwhiteandyote, what is the problem with the "we" stuff? So you want someone who doesn't give a crap about SD athletics? Come on man! RJ and Van Goor are true coyotes. Keep up the good work guys!

Lastly, I hope I keep hearing tons of KABOOMS from RJ since he uses the word when "WE" hit a three pointer. If we aren't hearing many or any KABOOMS, we probably aren't doing so hot.
