The Yotes set a new record for free throws made in a game as they made 43 (50 attempts) against Morehead. Morehead leads the nation in fouls committed.

It is really enjoyable to watch a team, that gets to the line, and MAKES free throws. Congrats and GO YOTES!!!

Was at the game last night. The crowd was pretty small, but that is to be expected with terrible weather and Christmas Vacation on campus.
I have to say, I really like the players and the chemistry that is starting to build with this team. We are still undersized, but the players are all hustle guys that tend to overachieve.
Boots management of the team still frustrates me; specifically his use of only 5 guys during the entire second half, but I guess you can't argue with the results. Still, with an eye toward developing for the future, I would really like to see guys like Flack getting more time and a guy like Robertson get at least a little time. We actually have a little depth on the bench, but Boots refuses to use it (as he always has).
Guys like Tekker and Bos are just likeable players. They definitely exceed their natural talent with hustle and will-power. Myles is a stud - just calm and collected out there. Rowson is the type of players the Yotes haven't had in years (maybe never had?) that can get to the rim and create his own shot at any time. The future is bright, in my eyes, IF the team can continue to gel and the young guys develop a little further.
