Yotes need a bucket here.
11-2 run by Oakland.
Boss drives in for a foul. Shooting 2. Good job Boss. First good, second good 81-66, 5:20 to go. Oakland for 3, crap. Down to 12.
Offensive foul on the Yotes. Better watch out as I don't expect the Yotes to get many calls down the stretch.

Yotes getting hammered as of late on the glass. Robertson fouled out but contributed a key 6 points. OU for 2, first bad, second good
Steal and layup for Oakland. Down to 81-72. Now offensive foul on USD. Crowd getting into it. Bader missed a three-thank god 4:05 to go. Sharp shooting Bader has missed 10 straight threes. That will be the story if Oakland losses for them. 3:49 to go USD ball up 9.

Yotes are very cold. Yotes got a major break. Layup waved off on a travel. Still up 9 about 3:30 to go. Yotes will need about 2 or 3 more clutch buckets to get it done tonight.

54% shooting for the game despite going very cold lately.
Yotes ball. Actually a foul and Kasp at the line. Techincal foul. Makes both and the ball. That was big. A bad bench technical on Oakland. Gruis for 2. Now steal for Kasp and layup.
Oakland scores 2, there have been a boatload of points especially in the 2nd half.
I am exhausted just listening to this game. Myles gets fouled. Gotta love how well the Yotes shoot freebies. Myles good on the 1 and 1. 2nd swish.
89-74. It's looking good.

front end good for the Yotes. Back end good. No way is Oakland gonna win now. missed three and rebound. Yotes ball. Griz fighting and clawing all the way. OU just let USD run the whole shot clock down. They are waiving the white flag. Myles for 2. 93-74 and this will turn some heads in the Summit. We are getting there folks.
HUGE HUGE HUGE step forward this weekend.

Please please please stop saying put the mustard on the dome dog. Van Gohr has called a very good game but that is too middle school basketball for me.

Some may disagree but I believe this is the biggest win in the transition, because it comes on the road, comes in the conference and says "we care alot more about winning games that aren't against SDSU".
This was a harder game to win than either at home against the Jacks. This is a one for all, all for one, us against the world win.
In any sport I put alot of stock on being able to play well on the road. The Coyotes arguably have played better on the road than they have at home in the Summit. Should have beaten IPFW 2 nights ago.
These are the kinds of wins that need to have the word spread around about. The casual fan may not understand just how big this win was tonight. Joe just mentioned that this may have been the biggest win in the transition. I am definately on that bandwagon.

Have to agree with CF on this statement win.
The bunny board has the hackneyed "naters going to nate", well, I guess we can come back with every once in a while "Booter's gonna Boot".

Boots' comments
Obviously Boots is happy. Did very well in the zone tonight. Casey and Jordan good shooting. Thought this was a good defensive week. Great win for the program. Good building block. If we get everyone on the same page and moving well the offense can be good. Not a great defensive team but coming along. Have to get longer. Great shooting and passing. Bench was good. Looking forward to but it will be a challenge Thursday against Omaha.

This was a very good day to be a Coyote. South Dakota swept Oakland men and women and neither game was close.

Nice win by the Coyotes. Getting a win in the O'Rena is very difficult and the Coyotes did it in style. The bunny board has the hackneyed "naters going to nate" Point of information (I know you said nothing about the source but it seems suggested in your comment that it was something SDSU fans came up with on their own): The "Naters Gonna Nate" catch-phrase was put into play by a writer for CBSSports.com after SDSU beat Washington last season.

This is a great win for USD, but I remember saying that when USD beat SDSU, not the Yotes have to build on it instead of lose a couple of game they should have won. USD NEEDS to build off this.
