Anyone else notice the stat guy royally drop the ball today in the State loss at Oakland? At the end of the broadcast the announcers stated the victory was Oakland's 19th consecutive Summit League home win. Guess they didn't count USD's 97-78 win at Oakland as a Summit League win to come up with that brilliant stat.

I didn't hear the comment but I wonder, only because Coach Kampe has made the statement in various interviews, if they are limiting that to just the month of February. I heard Kampe say they haven't lost at home in February since something like 2008...without fact-checking, that's probably about 19 games.
I also heard Kampe mention several times the loss to USD.
Certainly if the stat guy said 19 in a row, he's wrong.
USD's wins over OU and SDSU are raising some heck with the conference standings!

Yeah, I heard Coach Kampe's comments as well, but there was definitely a stat at the bottom of the screen that said 19th consecutive Summit League home win. I know Coach Kampe always draws some fire from hecklers in the stands and such, but he seems like a good guy. Definitely a sharp coach, like a lot of coaches in the Summit these days. Will definitely be interesting to see how the conference tournament pairings turn out soon.
