It is good to see some recognition of the women's basketball here today. Currently a #3 seed at tourney time should have some pats on the backs.

I understand Margaret McLoud was sitting on the bench but did not play. Does anyone know why?
Looking at the stats, Polly Harrington and Tempestt Wilson came through strong - again, but it was apparently a team effort on the defense.

Last I heard McLoud was injured but I am not sure of the nature. I would really like to see the Coyotes leap to #2 so they would get a Saturday game. If the men lose one game but for sure 2 they will finish at #7 which is what I am hoping will happen. #7 appears to be the perfect spot because they would likely play Western Illinois as opposed to NDSU and get a day off in between should they pull off the upset. For the Women I am assuming same senario, if they get #2 they would be in the Saturday game as well.

I hope the USD men get the 6 seed and women the 3. The SDSU men and women are locked into Saturday. Therefore, if both USD teams play Sunday, the attendance record will be in serious danger of being smashed.
From a basketball standpoint, I am sure you all disagree with me. The day of rest is important.
