USD at WIU March 2 is a game of particular interest to the Jackrabbits. If USD wins at Macomb, SDSU has sole possession of the regular-season Summit League Championship title. If WIU defeats the visiting Coyotes, then SDSU and WIU share the regular-season banner.

There is no dilemma, you cheer for what's best for your team and that is to win the outright Summit title. You should be cheering for the Yotes.

USD will own the six seed with a win @ WIU on Saturday (or a UMKC loss @ IUPUI). My guess is that NDSU takes care of business @ Omaha and locks up the three seed. We do not match up well with NDSU, and WIU's performance last night, though they gutted out a win, might indicate they will miss Parks' services badly (assuming he's done for the season). In summary, would I rather see the Coyotes play a shorthanded WIU team on Saturday of the SLT (a team we played very well in the Dome), or open the tourney against an NDSU team regaining the services of Braun? I guess at the end of the day, the 2,3,6, and 7 seeds are all in the same half of the bracket. Still, it would be nice to pick up at least one tourney win, and I think our best chance might rest with the Leathernecks. Should be a great tourney. Go Yotes!

I think your analysis is correct, yotemeal. NDSU's Braun getting back in the lineup and WIU losing Parks makes for some interesting matchups.
