Does anyone have an educated guess on what time this game might be played? I am trying to make some travel plans and trying to determine if I could fly into KC that morning early and still make it over. Also, how bad does traffic get going into Lawrence if anyone goes to games there?

not to bad of traffic.. my brother flew in from Houston this past fall to KC for the Rice KU game. He flew in at about 11 we picked him up, then drove to Lawrence and it took about 1.5 hours. We got to our seats at a 2 pm kickoff easily with time to tailgate as well.

Also, how bad does traffic get going into Lawrence if anyone goes to games there? It would be a short hour from the airport to Lawrence. My son went to school there, and his answer last night when I asked him what it might start if he were to guess, and he said 6 pm. Regarding traffic, you could take I-70 west ( parts toll) and get off at the Lawrence exit. From there you might be a short 2 miles to get to stadium, but you'll wanna find a side street north or east of the stadium to park and walk to the stadium.. FYI......My sons group will be hosting a pig roast on the east side of the stadium with keg beer for a fee. The money raised is given to charity, so plan to attend. They have extended a special invite to all Coyote fans to attend.

They have extended a special invite to all Coyote fans to attend. The game will most likely be a 6 PM kick. KU's first few home games of the season are usually evening games. YFE is right on the money about parking. You will be able to park on someone's yard north of the stadium for a fee. You'll need to arrive early to park close on the street. If you park on the east side of the stadium on a side street, just know you will have to walk up a pretty decent sized hill to get back toward the stadium. Traffic will not be bad as many people also take K-10 from KC to get to Lawrence. If you're coming from the airport, I-435 to I-70 will be your route. Hope you guys enjoy Lawrence. EDIT: Just so you know, you can park west of the stadium on residential streets too. That will require you to walk through campus a little more, but if its nice out, it is worth the walk. Additionally, in years past, a parking lot to the southeast of Allen Fieldhouse will have parking for a fee. That will require a hike to the stadium, but again, it will give you the opportunity to walk through campus.

Per JH:
Here's a telling Kansas football stat for you, USD followers: 25-man recruiting class in Feb. had 18 juco transfers. Eighteen.

Here's another interesting stat. Kansas is only a 23 1/2 point favorite on the early line.

Some website predicts the score Kan 21 SD 14 in OT. I can't remember the name of it as the computer at the hotel blipped off right after I saw it. But it's a website that predicts scores for over 70 games. If someone can find it, post the analysis please.
