Youngstown runs out the clock at midfield. Not much confidence there. I'm assuming they are a more veteran team than the Yotes. Not looking like it so far. Coyotes are 1 point better at the half.

Wow, had to be away for awhile. Yotes hanging on to the 2 pt. lead going into the 4th.
What a game.
Yotes need to score again on this possession.
Go Coyotes, Go!

8:03 left and Yotes down 31 to 27.
This is gut check time as SD takes over.

Yotes get another 3 and out. YSU to punt. SD gets another chance.

Quite a football game but The Penguins escape The Danger Dome with a VERY hard earned victory. Congratulations to them. They seem to be a very good team but I am HeartBroken for sure as are a lot of The Coyote Nation.
To quote the Jack fans. We're close.
The "D" just wasn't quite good enough today.
The Yotes will get their share of these types of wins in the future.
Bring on the Grizz and jackies.
The Danger Dome is waiting.
Go Coyotes as always!

I'm having a hard time not being upset beyond all belief since we would have taken that if not for the defense collapsing on the last drive. A very hard time not being upset. I'm sure there are many positives to see here, but not right now. I wanted that one bad. Should have had it.

I'm sure there are many positives to see here, but not right now. I wanted that one bad. Should have had it. For me, the tough part here is that this is the first game the defense lost for us. Granted, they had some huge forced turnovers that kept us in the game- no doubt about that. But, as noted, when we absolutely needed a stop, they didn't get it. The frustrating part was that today, the Offense was there, the Special Teams was mostly there (KO return coverage was certainly lacking, but at least there weren't any botched punts/kicks which is sadly a huge plus!), but the Defense was off. Still waiting for that complete game from everyone! There were lots of positives in this one. I don't feel like going into them now- I'm sure others will, once we're done licking our wounds. For what it's worth, the dome is still a TOUGH place to play- I don't care who you are. As always, GO YOTES!

Tough loss to a good team but we let them know the Yotes are getting close. Youngstown has a better offense than anyone else we have played. Very proud of our offense. Beschorner is throwing most of the play book at 'em and Kevin Earl is executing the plays. Bouma must still be hurting and Roberts came back and performed well after what looked like a serious knee injury.
Hats off to Cody O'Neill for stellar long snapping.
Lets get those next two wins at home - GO YOTES!
