Girls seem to be playing much better tonight. Just over 2 minutes left in the 1st half, down 33-29.

Had a chance to tie it with a minute left, but we traveled after a big offenseive rebound. Fouled them right on the inbound, gave up a couple free throws, offensive foul on Seekamp, but then we got it back and made a 3 to make it 35-34 at halftime. Gotta love that we managed to come away from that only down by 1.

Our girls are playing their hearts out, down 51-50 now with 12 left. Game is moving pretty fast, got a feeling it's going to pass us by soon.

Contreas makes two FTs to tie it up at 57, then she somehow got a technical foul just after making the second one. ISU makes both free throws, scores two more, then gets a steal and Contreas fouls them again. 61-57, not a good series of events.

Yes, suddenly down 8 very quickly. Not good. Need to play a near perfect game to win this one, and what just happened will not get it done.

Down 88-70 with under a minute to go. No shame here. This is a good and well coached team

Looking at the Live Stats, the difference was at the charity stripe where the Cyclones were 27 for 31 and the Yotes were 8 for 11.

Tough loss for the Yotes but I'm excited by the potential the ladies showed in this game. The Cyclones are the #22 team in the nation and the Yotes went toe to toe with them. Take away the bad stretch after the technical foul and the Yotes have a chance to win it at the end. I can't wait to watch them in person next week at the Pentagon.
