Back to things Coyotes, Thanks to Herbster, Sayler and Pres. Abbott for getting our programs to this stage. Coach Glenn, Coach Williams, and now the promising Coach Smith for the big 3, that's impressive! One of the best trios around, now let's roll !

"Just about every school in the region plays outdoors." You mean like your FCS competitors for recruits USD, UND, NDSU, and UNI? All of them play indoors. Oh, and they all have an "indoor practice facility". No I mean like all fcs and bcs schools. Very few schools have domes around this region besides the ones you listed. Recruiting isn't going to come down to who plays indoor and outdoors so i don't know why its that big of a deal that sdsu plays in an outdoor stadium. There's no reason to rip sdsu's new football stadium renovations. If anything you should be happy because you wont have to sit on sketchy wooden bleachers anymore. I'm pretty sure every school in the region doesn't have a brand new state of the art indoor practice facility. Uh, I'm pretty sure there is at least one other school in the region with brand new indoor practice facilities. www.hawkeyesports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/082213aaj.html

This thread is hilarious. In all honesty State is still above us until we prove otherwise. I do like the direction we have taken in MBB and the future facility upgrades. The difference is we are just now getting to the point where the school is "settling" in to playing D1. State took its fair share of lumps moving up, and I could argue that USD is farther along at this point in the respective transitions, but who cares. What matters is what happens going forward. That starts with football, which I think has been the biggest headache to compete in. I am a native of SD, but sitting at a game when it is windy and freezing sucks. Will that matter in recruiting? Maybe. I could see some recruits from the south wanting to play in a dome over an outdoor stadium. I also can’t see how an upgraded stadium wouldn’t help SDST’s recruiting. I know I am looking forward to upcoming matchups.
(Our board may have less posting, I guess most of us don’t get a day off when it rains. A little smack haha)

Have to wonder why a couple of SDSU fans feel the need to account for almost half the posts on a thread regarding the accomplishments of David Herbster in his first year as AD for the Yotes. Some yote fan stated on in this thread that SDSU women's basketball is vulnerable. So i was simply stating that its not. NIT
