Never going to bother checking that board, but any intelligent fan knows to just throw out the records here. Both their tourney teams lost to some very down USD teams in Vermillion a few years back. Last year they tied for regular season champs and just got run out of the Dome. Vermillion has not been, nor will it ever be, kind to them.

This seems like the only game every year where the Yotes really play up to their potential at home. Having a good crowd helps alot and it would be nice if they could have that type of a crowd every game. When the Coyotes play with energy they are as good as anyone in the Summit they just need to bring that energy more consistantly but can't that be said about every team. I believe that the outside oriented Jacks may have some difficulty shooting from outside today. That should favor the Coyotes but I will call this game a pick em.

32-28 Coyotes at the half. I don't think the Coyotes took advantage enough of playing better for the majority of the half. They allowed the Jacks back in the game towards the end. The Yotes could easily be up 12-15 right now.

That game was an insult to the sport of basketball. A total of 58 fouls and 74 free throw attempts. I hope to never watch anything like that again.

I understand some of the calls but ticky tacky hand check fouls that don't affect the play in any way need to go away, they ruin the sport.

Some times games are called like that. I don't consider that a factor since both teams were called for about the same amount of fouls. The Jacks deserve credit for coming into the dome and surviving an early deficit to come back to win. The Coyotes are a mediocre Summit basketball team right now that isn't really getting any better despite other teams apparently making steps forward. It's a good thing for Western Illinois as they are giving the Coyotes some cushion from avoiding the dreaded #9 spot. The Yotes have to be careful though because if they go into Western Illinois on the last weekend only 1 game up on them it could get plenty dicey. I think what lost the game today was not building a bigger lead in the first half and/or building on the 11 point lead that they did have. They should have been up by a bigger margin at half and were not and it cost them this game.

It does affect your game when you can't play your big men because they're all in foul trouble for breathing on his opponent

Totally agree, but at least it was called both ways. Horrible free throw shooting by both squads. 24 for 37 or something like that damn near for both, yikes. Kasey and Bittle (with the help of his girlfriend's hair accessory) helped to keep their respective squads FT percentage somewhat respectable.

Refs were awful. Both ways. Conference commissioner needs to review tape. Affected both sides play. In fact neither team could play. Awful
