I wonder what kind of depth Oregon has because the Coyotes team depth has gone a long ways to keep everyone just a bit fresher. I am sure Oregon is a good team but the crowd and Oregon having to stay on the road and come into Vermillion less than 48 hours after dispatching of the Miners could be a challenge for them. Chalk up an intangible advantage for the Coyotes.
When the Coyotes played Washington earlier in the year it actually came before the Coyotes really started to get their game together and especially their defense game together. I have a good feeling about this game but it all depends on the match ups.

I just looked at the Oregon box score against UTEP and it looks like they played all 5 starters most of their minutes. They are VERY balanced with their starters with their scoring but they scored 68 of their 71 points. The box score currently does not show the actual minutes played but based on the stats it looks like the 2 bench players that got in the game played very minimal minutes.
If USD comes out with their energy they will wear down Oregon. If they let both teams play physical and it turns into a grind out game I cannot see how the Coyotes do not have the advantage. Of course nothing is a guarantee but there are already several factors that point towards red and white.

Fill the Dome I already bought ten tickets. These wonderful group of ladies deserve 7,000 at the Dome. Students no excuse! Adults from Sioux Falls no excuse! Get to the Dome. Go Yotes

Here is the breakdown of the minutes played
Starters

Bench

Now that is one deep team, Ha Ha :-)
Those starters must be damn good basketball players.

KELO just had a story about the Coyotes on the 10:00 sportscast. They showed some highlights, interviews and did announce the Oregon game would be in Vermillion. I thought finally the Dome had played it's last basketball game on Sunday but we should never assume anything including a possible WNIT finals shot as well. I believe the other half is Florida Gulf Coast vs Michigan. If FGC wins I would think USD would have a good shot to host again. Of course no one is over looking Oregon by any means. This is tourning from a nice little run to quite a bit mind boggling. The Coyotes are hosting Oregon in the WNIT semi-finals. Yep they are hosting Oregon. really Oregon in the Semi's, WOW.

Just enjoy the ride and put the negative card back in the deck.

Think about it... FGCU is HOSTING Michigan, which tells you FGCU put in a better bid than Michigan. If Michigan couldn't beat FGCU's bid there's no way in hell they can beat USD's bid.
