Neither team is lighting it up and neither team seems to be finding their rhythm.

28-22 Florida Gulf Coast at Halftime
For a semi-final game I didn't see the type of an urgency level from either team that we have seen from the Coyotes. These are good teams but maybe not the eye of the Tiger type play one would expect at this stage of the tournament. I credit that Eagles crowd as they have been loud but I wouldn't say they have ridden the crowd to the level that the Yotes did yesterday. Of course comparing anything to the level that the Yotes played at is just not fair either. The D was ok for both teams but not quite the in your face type D seen from the Yotes. No question if the Coyotes can handle the Ducks they can handle either of these teams. Not that anything is a guarantee but there is a level of motivation that is the Wolverine Eagle motivation and then there is a play like your hair is on fire motivation like the Yotes have been doing.

When is someone going to start the Championship GDT? Maybe once the opponent is known.

Anyone know the capacity of FGCU's arena? Is that the type of close-in feel we should expect at the CSC Pt.2/The Den? What a stark difference from the dome...

It looks like their arena is a bit of a noise box and the capacity is said to be about 4,500 even though it doesn't look like it by seeing the rotational view of it. It seems like a nice arena though.

I've been in Alico. Very nice feel to it and would be a good place to watch a game. I've got to think ours would be similar. Google says 4,633 capacity for Alico.

47-45 at the end of 3 for FGC. Michigan with a mini 5-0 run to end the quarter. Nice basket and one to end the quarter for the Wolverines. The level of play picked up towards the end of the quarter.

I think there are advantages and disadvantage to playing both teams. Michigan would have to do it the hard way by winning on the road. The Eagles are not playing like the tight defensive team that I expected. They have been home either all the way or most of the way in this tourney so going from alot of noise for you to alot of noise against you might be a bit of a culture shock.

Both teams have good weapons that will create problems for us. But I like our team balance and the way we've been moving the ball on offense and the incredible defensive effort we've been playing with. Carry those two things over to Saturday and we'll be alright even if we don't shoot 75% from 3.

The difference will be in the size of their gas tanks for saturday.
