Sounds like this is the arena that it may be closest to. I like what I see from this arena. Makes sense and has alot of seats at a fairly high angle of pitch. Would make for a very good basketball atmosphere. Attachments:

Huge arrticle in the Sioux City Journal today written by Barry Poe. The headlines on page 1 talk about the COYOTE TRANSITION and then follows up with stories on D-7 about Sayler, the changes in coaches philosophies, students take on it, etc.
I have contended many times that the Journal is more Pro_Coyote than the Argus. I would like to see Sayler aim some marketing money to the Sioux City market.
Read the article, and if you agree with me, then please send an email tanking them for highlighting USD. Let's get this board cranked up some.

yoteforever,
I agree. It's good that the Sioux City Journal seems to be stepping up. With the right product (which will be helped by a new arena) Sioux City may be able to be tapped into especially since SC has a bit of an identity crisis with sports. They have no higher than NAIA for colleges and just a few semi-pro teams. Knowledgable sports fans would have to consider what USD is building to at least create some curiousity.
I just went and book marked the Sioux City Journal and will make it a point to send an e-mail thanking them for their coverage and pointing out that I will continue to check them out.

The Sioux City Journal is stepping up its coverage, and I think Barry Poe is the main reason why. Hopefully a potential beat writer for the Yotes.
