I am really iffy about the prospects of a big run this year. The team seemed very worn out at the end of the year. I am very tempted to pick an upset and if this game was in Grand Forks I would pick UND but I will predict a 4th quarter rally tonight and a Coyote win 82-80. The first road game this year and I think it is over.
Go Coyotes.

Great defense, ladies! AA is back in form, too.

Nice job, ladies!, and good job fans! I don't know what the official number was, but watching online, I could hear a lot of crowd participation (was at my son's YMCA BB champ game at the same time).
Let's pay the Hawkeyes back for the men's game.

If I hadn't said it before, our online coverage for games is better than any other Summit team. I can always access the game by video, the post-game by audio (listening right now), and watch the post game press conference (win or lose) on the site after the fact, too. I have rarely seen SDSU post game press conference video for when they lose. Only wins. That could be because of access. When they win someone posts the video on Youtube.
Anyway, not to dis the Jacks, I just wanted to give our website/coverage department props for giving us fans first-class access. It DOES help grow the fan base, as fickle and hesitant as our fans can be.
Go Yotes!

I was really impressed with the Coyotes tonight. I did not think they would play as well as they did. It started from the opening tip and continued all the way through. This new arena just gives the girls a feeling of comfort because they almost always play well at home. I kind of felt they would be be done when they hit their first road game but after tonight I think they should give Iowa everything they can handle on Saturday afternoon. Too bad the game is in Iowa City.

Anyone with close connections to the athletic dept or HP wanna throw out a suggestion for a fan bus to the game saturday?
Don't wanna drive myself, but would happily pay to ride to the game on a bus...! Guessing there would be support for this... am I right?

I feel like Iowa and potentially SDSU will be tougher games than who we might see after that. Tough draw. Will be a challenge, but the girls seem to have rebounded from the losses at the end of the season.

I'm surprised Colorado made it this year. They didn't have a very good year, very poor conference record. If we manage to beat Iowa we will be playing State.
