If she would be at 100%, I would think they'd be a tougher out than Western.

If she would be at 100%, I would think they'd be a tougher out than Western. I think you could certainly make that argument. Western is scary but at the same time teams that tend to do better at tourney time are not so based on offense and taking fast paced shots. The stronger defensive teams tend to thrive a bit more and as long as the Coyotes play lock down D I think they will win regardless of who they face. SDSU will be a different animal. The reason Western struggled against the South Dakota teams is because they are the best defensive teams in the league when it really comes down to it.

In the first round for the NCAA tournament (9) Villanova leads (8) SDSU 38-27 at half. It looks like after the Cramp Rabbits won their super bowl against THEE USD they now have nothing left to give for Villanova. Maybe next time they shouldn't cut down the nets at the Premier Center or celebrate so hard just by winning the Summit tourney. I will be just like their fans and critisize how USD's opponents choose to celebrate their accomplishments. Karma, Karma, Karma. I mean the only nets they should ever cut down or trophies they accept in Brookings are the ones when they win the national championship.

What a disappointing showing when they were the overwhelming favorite and higher seed. Just laid a complete turd. They never had a lead for the entirety of the 45 minute game and for the most part got dominated the entire game. Not a good showing for the summit league.
Macy Miller and the jacks can talk about their "respect" all they want but yet another year of losing their first game when for 12 months we had to hear about how their bench would start for every other team, they were going to steam roll the summit league, and were a lock for the sweet 16.

Today is another example of how the coddled Jacks just can't perform outside conditions that are completely favorable to them. They were very lucky to foce OT today and deserved their loss.

Realize this is a Summit thread, but, at long last, a 16 over 1 upset. Not only that, but Virginia was the top #1 seed and they got their butts handed to them.

Realize this is a Summit thread, but, at long last, a 16 over 1 upset. Not only that, but Virginia was the top #1 seed and they got their butts handed to them. Top overall seed, 31-2 on the year, unanimous number 1 in latest polls, and completely annihilated by the 16 seed. I think this has to be the maddest moment I've ever seen in the tourney. I can't even recall seeing a close game between the 1 and 16 seed. Still haven't seen one. A victory for UMBC was completely unthinkable, and they won by 20 (against a team where 20 goes WAY further than usual).
