Probably have enough points at the end of 3 to win. You re underestimating Western. Yotes at end of three: 63 Lnecks at end of four: 58

82-58 is the final.
STATEMENT SENT TO THE SUMMIT LEAGUE BY THE COYOTES
The Coyotes are 3-0 and haven't even been threatened in any of their conference games so far. A switch went on with this team sometime around the Christmas break. I don't know what it is but Dawn deserves a ton of credit for this rapid turnaround.

Duffy's final stat line: 21 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists. She's been playing like a First Team All Summit selection over the past 6 or 7 games. Duffy has made an unbelievable jump in her play. She is kind of like the Allison Arens of last year with a little more all around to her game. Arens might not even be in the top 2 or 3 best players on the team right now. I am admittedly a McKeever fan but right now Duffy is the best player on this team and that is really hard to dispute. 40-29 was the rebounding advantage today. McKeever had 8 rebounds tonight. BTW Bradley is actually the team leader so far this season in assists before tonight. If we thought the Coyotes were happy on their plane from Fargo hopefully someone snaps another photo of their trip home from Macomb.

I don't know if it's that unbelievable. She was freshman of the year in the conference.

Plitzuweit is very calm in the post game. Inside she has got to be just going nuts. Her team just played an awesome game tonight. Whoever it was that said that Dawn has had plenty of time to prepare for Western had it right on the bulls-eye. She did something very right.

That win was unblievable though. Trimboli is so damn good.

Duffy was good last year, but she's finally made the leap to our best player. I would even like to see more set plays for her to post up smaller players when she's playing at guard. I agree with cityleague that Trimboli played huge for us. Her and Duffy's rebounding were huge.

That win was unblievable though. Trimboli is so damn good. Thing that impresses me the most about her is her inside game. I always just assumed she was a perimeter player, but she's done a yeoman's (or is it yeowoman's?) job down low this season. Nice post up player and a very tough defensive match up. Duffy's the same way and having two players with such strong inside/outside games could really cause matchup problems for teams.

She's literally good at everything. Shooting, passing, ball handling, posting up, rebounding, defending. And incredibly strong with a great competitive streak to boot. She's a hell of a player.

Wowza! I had a feeling tonight would be an L, but losing at WIU is nothing to be ashamed about. They not only got a W, but coasted most of the 2nd half in a blowout. That is an awesome way to start 3-0.
Whatever they were trying to get figured out a few weeks ago during their "slump" with SFA/Tulsa/UCR, well, they figured it out.

And I think it'd be unfair to Allison to fail to point out that she's been playing very well too. Her effectiveness and efficiency have been impressive, even if the raw numbers are a little smaller than last season. And I think that's only going to make this team better. Credit to her and the coaching staff. That's not always the easiest thing to do.

I really hope that numbers aren't important to any of them and, truthfully, I'd be shocked if they did because it sure doesn't seem like it. Right now this team is five fingers making a fist.

Attendance for the defending champion in an early critical Summit game: 503
I won't complain about 1800. These girls know the score, and compliment the Yote fans every chance they get.
