Lamb was great down the stretch. Duffy looked like she might’ve got a bit fatigued down the stretch, couple of shots they needed her to make just weren’t there. That may have been part of the decision on not having her take a crack at Macy.

The one ref called jump ball and the male ref comes racing in to say "hey, we are in Frost arena damn it, you know better than that. Foul" The refs were fine, Miller hitting the 3 over Hannah was the difference. Lamb could have ended it at regulation, but no cigar. If you don't think both of these teams are worthy of the NCAA tourney even when USD wins in the SLT, you are mistaken. Of course the Jacks fans complaining about refs though at the end. I watched with a hawk eye and Miller gets Daum treatment every time she drives.

What would they possibly have to complain about concerning the officiating? They shot more than twice as many free throws as USD did. If true, that's just whining for the sake of whining. I didn't think it was that bad although the one official made a few calls that weren't his to make which can have a tendency to piss off who you're working with.

Very proud of our young ladies. Tough environment and they made some tough shots late. Hopefully we can get them to fall in the SLT.

That may have been part of the decision on not having her take a crack at Macy. I think Lamb has gotten better as the season has gone on. Just like last year, I feel like she is becoming more a part of the offense as the season wears on. How her shot at the end of regulation did not go in is an absolute mystery. Look liked the ball was almost all the way through the hoop and then rattled out.

There are players on each team that you can tell the game is too big for them at a certain point in time. Was a great call to let lamb make her own shot. She did, but didn't connect this time.

Still think I would rather have had Duffy make a play at the end. Lamb had a deadly pull-up but I’m more confident in Duffy’s overall playmaking abilities and IQ. But Lamb got a great look so obviously hard to complain too much.

Sure is tough losing big leads two days in a row at Frost. I would be very worried about an at large now if we lose in the SLT. It would probably come down to how many teams steal a bid during conference tournament week. Hopefully all favorites win their tournament. Whoever loses that game in the SLT certainly deserves to get an at large, but that doesn't mean they will. It will be very close. Man does that Denver game loom large. Sucks with all the hype we have gotten this year that we are a 2 seed in the conference tournament. I'm really hoping for a better performance than the last few times we played them in the SLT, assuming we play again.

I’m never going to complain going with Lamb down the stretch. She’s skilled and fearless. Nothing wrong with going to her at all in that situation particularly with the way she was going.

Have to win the SL tournament now. I don't think there's an at-large bid waiting for a mid-major with 5 losses. Both teams have a boat load of class. That’s awesome. I partly agree with this statement. I think the State players are classy girls, and publicly their coach is as well. However, I've heard from too many former USD players that AJ used to spend a good portion of his recruiting pitches bad mouthing USD and their coaches. I don't know if he still does that or not, but it's tough to have too much respect for him knowing that.

How many and which players hate AJ? This stuff needs more info. By the way, the game is on rerun right now.

I think their team ( i.e. players ) are extremely classy as is ours. Both teams highly competitive. No talking back to refs or scoffing at calls. I know our coaching staff is 1st class. I can’t speak either way for their staff. I simply don’t know.

When you get to Lambs last shot, slow it down and watch closely. The very last shot. I never caught it during the game
