Word is UND will travel to Vermillion in 2013 with USD returning to Grand Forks in 2014
Good addition to the schedule.

It's gonna be nice to start hammering 'the whatevers' like we should be doing. With any kind of coaching we would have about a five year winning streak against them. I suppose some delusional great waste fan will come on here now saying how they always have had the better team. Last season's game should have been about 52 to 10 or so. It will be great to see nd at the bottom of the Big Sky. LOL!
Go Yotes! I'm getting excited again. Go Coach Joe Glenn! Go South Dakota! Forever of course.

I am really neutral on playing North Dakota. I don't really care either way. I like to broaden the horizons and play teams from other conferences to see new opponents, especially since in the Valley we will get rivalry games 8 times a year. I would like to see UND in the Valley but since that is not the case I am in no hurry to necessarily see them. Not out of a lack of respect just for the opportunity to play new opponents, that's all.
The Yotes have played so many Western and Southern teams. I would like to see what the D1 FCS Eastern half has to offer. New Hampshire, Maine, Delaware, Harvard, Yale teams like that.

This is the best of all worlds, the MVFC and UND on the schedule. Now the goal should be to make this series permanent. As far as playing teams from the east, I really don't care, we'll get our shot at them when we make the playoffs, until then it doesn't matter if I ever see Deleware, etc. on the schedule. The FCS programs in the midwest and west are strong, couple that with playing a Big Ten or Big 12 team each season and the schedule is all I could hope for and more.
This is great news, great news, and 2013 is gonna be special.

If USD is really nearing an agreement with McNeese State, you can bet David Sayler will load that contract with stiff penalties. Makes sense that USD would want the home game first, because we all know USD would make the return trip.....McNeese State, yeah, probably not.

Sayler told me the days of SD making home and away deals without a home game first or stiff buyout clauses are over.

Sayler told me the days of SD making home and away deals without a home game first or stiff buyout clauses are over. Correct me if I am wrong, but the caveat to this statement in that this does not apply to high dollar FBS games.

This sounds like the stupid garbage that the bunny fans used to spew when USD was trying to schedule games with them, pre Summit/MVC. Bring on UND!

They still owe us a home game. I would take the home game and than buy out the road game to return the favor and even the score.
