Congratulations on being located in Fargo and having the resources that come with that. Strange that it has taken your school so long to tap into those appropriately. Before you start spouting off all those D2 championship stories -Why did it take the Bison so long to step up to Division 1 like UNI and the Montana schools? Guess you guys prefer feeling superior and beating up on programs that have half the budget your program runs on. Oh wait, even SDSU has whipped your school since transition with half the FB budget! Must have felt great to finally beat UNI last year after so many years. I am sure your team and fans will come down to SD like the cocky bunch you were in 2006 (with your mythical National Championship team) - if so, prepare to get punched in the mouth. Your fans make it fun to root against your program. Even your head coach is a fun guy to root against. Why did he get run out of Nebraska? Certainly the great knowledgeable Bison fans know that story.....Do you think he blushed when he read the story about the Arkansas coach getting fired? Hilarious! Get back to me when USD accomplishes something notable, and what took USD so long to jump up??? And I could care less if you root against us I don't cheer for any other school but NDSU, no winning the championship felt awesome though, and I also don't give a shit about what supposedly did and some say didn't do because he has been nothing but a class act here and look what did, the results can't be denied Your program is scared to move up to a level of equal to possibly greater resources. At least Bohl didn't crash his bike on his trip....

Funny how frequently Bison fans troll other fan boards to boast and make denigrating comments. You come on here and expect others to bow to you and fawn over your programs.
Hope you and your team get your collective teeth kicked in this year.

I always wonder how many of the Bison rogue posters actually went to college.

Q: Why do those that actually do graduate from NDSU keep their diplomas on their dashboards?
A: So they can park in handicap spaces.

First off - we have resources because we have a great fan base that raises money privately. Population has nothing to do with that. Look at the Kansas Jayhaws and the giant "town" they are located in. And ND is smaller than SD population wise and we have the same number of D1 schools. And if you have seen our Bison Sports Arena you may feel differently about our "great resources" Moving up? Its not easy having to double the size of your athletic department. Seems kind of arrogant to rip on us for that. We have gone 5-4 vs SDSU since moving up and 3 of those losses were by 1 score. I would hardly call that getting our butts kicked. And until this year we had beaten their basketball team NINE TIMES in a row. All I will say is "National Champions. " Craig Bohl? The entire Nebraska staff was fired. He wasnt run out of town. However Joe Glenn was run out of Wyoming. Im not a jerk so I wont hold that against him since hes a good coach.

One thing to keep in mind is that USD had to make this move for budget reasons. The money from this game will help replace the money from what used to be 2 FBS money games. USD essentially has a 300k to 400k budget cut from not playing a second FBS game. This won't mean anything in terms of "new" money for USD.

Ohh, there is going to be all kinds of "new " money as a result of this game.

Look at the Kansas Jayhaws and the giant "town" they are located in. . Not to split hairs, but Lawrence is essentially a suburb of Kansas City. What's amazing is that K-State is able to get anyone--and I mean students, not just "student-athletes"--to move to Manhattan. That said, I have more friends from K-State than KU. It must be related to my time at Mizzou.
