Yote 14, DO you have a close relationship with Bob? If not how could you possible claim to not have one bit of doubt he truly cares about everyone he left behind at WIU? The way he handled the exit in Macomb was lying directly to the players faces. He said he was here to stay and then turned around got in his subaru and headed to Vermilion. Yes Illinois is a wretched detestable corrupt broke ass joke of a State. Hell, I don't even want to live here. I could go on and on about infrastructure upgrades that were promised and then vanished into thin air. Leatherneck Country Thanks for reminding me about Randy Ball....Lol. He moved to the FCS football black-hole. (otherwise known as Missouri State) Simplified outlook... A move that affects an entire staff has to be muted until official...a lot of moving parts. Coaches, like every other profession seek advancement. Hey if WIU would have paid the staff better then possibly they'd still be there... Like it or not college football is a business where hard decisions have to be made. The players aren't at college to be best friends with the coaches and the coaches that recruit them aren't looking for best friends... There is mutual gain, nothing personal about it.

You had me at Bowling Green... Enjoy the ride, the Yotes are real! I honestly have no idea what the ceiling is for this group, but this team has come out blazing. Football is a game of attrition, if healthy down the stretch this team will exceed all preseason expectations... #bracketbusters

First time seeing the Yotes play this year; new faces... Case is an impressive WR, reminds me of Beasley from the Cowboys. Streveler is a beast... D looks solid, hope the 2nd Half is just as good as the first was.

I saw SDSU play 2 games- TCU & Cal Poly... Very impressive versus TCU; they were in the game until the 4th quarter... However, against Cal Poly not so much; the score was close, but the game really wasn't... With that said, I don't think it's too far fetched to rank them 4th; they appear to be a top2 MVFC team.
USD has to prove they belong, maybe this is the year, but until then I'll pass on the should-of/could-of/would-of...
Note: Villanova was not a bad team, they lost to JMU 20-7 and made the playoffs as did Cal Poly. SHSU has a solid program and are located in a hot recruiting area (Houston/DFW). They got smashed by JMU, but that was their only loss...

The outcome of this one will be interesting... YSU violated no rules taking the kid, however his crime plus conviction would make it near impossible for anyone to take him. Will the public outcry pressure the school to release him and legally can they without repercussions?

Of note to me is a cb transfer from Iowa state in addition to the grad transfer from MN. Wow big pickup! Good outcome for him, usually his scenario lands players at JUCO... Only a sophmore, instant impact/contributor type talent... Hopefully he takes advantage of the opportunity...

6 in the top 25 plus USD ranked 33rd. At this point I feel is somewhat accurate. I stand by my predictions...we beat SDSU in Vermillion. Yet they win the league. Coyotes go 7-4 and 5-3 in The Valley. Wow...insane schedule 1 x FBS school 3 x #2-10 4 x #11-22 *will have to beat 4 ranked teams (or an FBS team plus 3 ranked teams) to meet your prediction...

Season rosters sit at approx 110-120 players, with that said, if recruiting and evaluations are sound the departures should be non intrusive... I hope the turnover scenarios help all parties grow and fail fast forward. Season 2 = +2 wins...

Danny Rambo is getting no love, but I think he is set for a big year at CB. I'm pretty sure the 2 corners selected (Davontae Harris, Illinois St. & Jordan Brown, SDSU) play strong side. As of last season, Harris played strong side...

Good discussion, half full, half empty outlooks, but all are fans... Bottom line college football is cut throat and in the end nobody will pay attention to the should-of, would-of, could-of scenario... W's matter and the coaches will be judged by their win/loss record, progress, and consistency among other attributes. In a nutshell USD is in a super tough and established conference...no free lunch. The arrow is pointing up with momentum and expectations are high. Fun team to watch win or lose, cherish the moments...good times!
Note: I live in a metroplex with professional sports, power 5 football, but found myself watching USD every Saturday??? Anyhow Go Yotes!!
