We really can't afford to lose this one!! We can see what kind of fire this team really has.

With Allison: 82-67 (win) (+15) Without Allison: 80-54 (win) (+26)
I don't think this means all that much, but I do think we could use Lamb more often as an offensive weapon. We lose a lot of defense and rebounding without Allison but we pass the ball much much better without her. Hopefully this will help Lamb be more confident in case we need her in bigger games. Overall, great coyote win!

Interesting stat. With Allison, we actually only won by 15 points I think.

Would like to see Jasmine getting the ball more to drive

No Allison Arens means more shots for other people and it's nice to see Chloe Lamb succeeding, but like I said a month ago, I'm not sure Madison should ever be taking 9 shots in a half.

What can't be overlooked is Coach P out coaching Johnson. It is why Amy Williams is on the big stage in Lincoln and Johnson is still living in a double wide in Bushnell (Brookings and Aurora are a couple of its suburbs). I do think Dawn outcoached Johnson, but I don't think it was as stark as you make it seem (I would like to believe that though). Dawn mentioned in her postgame that the offense really struggled in the second half in the half-court. We had many possessions where Arens or McKeever dribbled around for a full possession or Duffy launched a late 3. I think this is a good sign that there is room for improvement, but I'm not sure the coaching difference was that obvious nor has Johnson stayed in his doublewide because he hasn't had offers to leave, I'm sure he has. It was our Defense that really saved the day.

Just a quick check of the recent RPI ratings on NCAA site Bunnyettes 35 (previously 30) Lady Yotes 83 (previously 94) Even if we go undefeated the rest of the summit league and then lose in the SL tournament, would we have a shot at an at-large? The loss against SFA without Duffy (by 20+) and the Tulsa loss are killers right now. Outside of that, our only three losses would be two a big 12 team and 2 top 25 teams.

These refs are terrible.

They are obviously coached to fall down. Would be fun to go back to the tape.... Where's The Count?.... CF, I have a job for you. I know it's just part of basketball. Gotta get the ref's attention a little. It's kind of funny when you are looking for it, though. Definitely some SDSU favored calls this quarter.

31-19 forcing turnovers, forcing bad shots.... love it. Make them play OUR game. That lineup was great. 13 point swing with them on in only about 5 minutes. Would like to see more of it: McKeever Lamb Duffy Trimboli Liveringhouse

Similar to most games this year, I think our chances will align with our relative 3pt percentage.

Yotes are favored by 7.0 on the road. Seems high to me. Not if we shoot it as well as we know we can.

It's probably just a computer thing. We are leading the conference so the computer puts us in. The person creating this likely has no idea. Is SDSU really an at large team? Would we have a shot at one?

Didn't play that well overall, but a good win nevertheless!
