I feel like we have a coaching staff that can prepare and scheme for them. Pretty confident.
We've done it once. Let's do it again.

2;30 on ABC would be awesome. Since it's NDSU there is a good chance to get that prime slot. Eyeballs matter.

I'm so used to grinding out games in The Valley, this game felt easy for some reason. Felt like we were in control even when something bad happened.

He's already received multiple, multiple P5 offers. Pretty crazy offers for a guy who was honorable mention all MVFC. Sure may lead to guys further up the accolades list wonder what kind of offers are out there for them. Seems the P5 using us as a developmental league moves on. I don't put much stock in the conference awards when you start getting into 1st team, 2nd team, and HM. It's political. I'm sure the kid can play, obviously, the offer sheet is long.

I didn't understand the comment earlier about our offense not being explosive and able to put up points. I get it when you look at the scores, but the scores don't always tell the story of what happened in the game.
Sometimes we win by pounding on teams with the run, playing solid D, good ST, complimentary football. We also have the ability to open it up when we want and make big plays. NDSU saw that first hand.
I would say the offense is diverse and dynamic. It can grind it out, it can pass it down the field, it can hit deep shots. In a playoff format, that's great, the ability offensively to do multiple things.
I would not say we are one dimensional by any stretch. This offense can hurt you in many different ways with many different players.

I remember finishing a season with zero RBs the final game of the season vs. NDSU one year. Good luck with that.
It's the second round of the playoffs, so teams are good. But the #2 team in the Valley isn't going to be intimidated by any team in the field.

Fly back to Cali then back to the Dakotas. That's the luxury we get to avoid by having a good regular season.
Some new blood. I'll take it.

Mine were $40 per. I didn't hesitate paying it but I wonder if some will. You're probably closer to the 50 than I am.

In connection with the various seeding questions/issues and the NCAA paying for travel for the FCS playoffs, I have read the NCAA takes 85% of ticket revenues so they have a keen interest in attendance, playoff-site bidding etc. JackJD - with regards to ticket sales, what is with SDSU only charging $12 (between the 30's) and $7 (outside the 30's)? I thought the NCAA had some rules that the host team could not sell playoff tickets for a cheaper price than they charged for regular season tickets. What? I just dropped $30 per ticket for the first round USD game. Also, noticed that USD season ticket holders have until to tomorrow midnight to get their tickets before they are released to the public. SDSU season ticket holders have until sometime next week to claim their tickets. Why such a difference in treatment between the two playoff games? SDSU tickets are much cheaper and season ticket holders get over a week to claim them, we get two days.

I have no problem with the draw SDSU received. Like it's been said, they've earned it.
Putting the 3 other Dakota schools in one quadrant is stupid, though. The MVFC cannibalizing itself gets old, then the committee sets up the playoffs so there is real potential there that our path is loaded with not only MVFC schools but the other Dakota schools. There is a real possibility that, hypothetically, out path to a NC goes through UND, NDSU, Montana, SDSU. Basically, our regular season schedule last year. Wow, what variety. Also, consider this freak stat. The Dakota schools are a combined 28-1 against FCS schools not from the Dakotas this season, the only L was UND's loss to UNI. That's pretty dominant and that's the path we have to go through.
Just saying, if the FCS playoffs were a true national playoff the MVFC/Dakota teams would be spread out throughout the field so we all get to see some new blood. One simple fix to this would have been to slide UND or NDSU down into the Montana quadrant. That would make the field more balanced.

3 of the 4 Dakota teams in one quadrant with Montana State thrown into the mix. Holy meat grinder. I'll trade the 3 seed for Furman's 7 seed.
We would have been better off losing the WIU game.
