Pretty sure Pluto is one of those free stations you can stream. I know I have the app on my Roku. I'll have to try it out.

Just saying, that's a key to NDSU's success.

Or we don't do a good job of evaluating talent that is going to fit and stick with our program and then bringing them through and developing them.
NDSU does a great job with that and is a major reason they have the program they do.

It is universally known that gameday and tailgating at USD is way better than SDSU. We'll keep doing things our way and you do whatever you do up there in Brookings. There are obviously issues because I have been hearing about it for years. Even other schools fan bases have taken notice.

Went over to the Bunny Board and read the thread on there about tailgating at SDSU. First, I don't plan on ever attending a game there, I just don't think it would be fun. I'm not interested in dealing with the hassle. It sounds like a very unwelcome environment. Seems their UPD is all over the place just sucking the life out of the place, and I'm not talking about out of control fun. There were several posts from guys who report to be in their 30's with families just standing around having a few beers and UPD came up on them. Apparently they require wristbands everywhere, not just at the student tailgate? Yeah, that wouldn't fly with me. I'm way too old to play that game of having to where a brand that tells me I'm legal, eff that. I don't want to ever experience that type of atmosphere at USD.
If USD tailgating ever gets the way it is up at State I would be done with going to games. I think we have the right mix here. Students have their own section where they can do their thing. We have permanent tailgate sections & drive-up sections. We can go out at halftime without being harassed. I know there are people that stay out and tailgate and listen to the game on the radio rather than go in. Thing is, it's not hard core partiers doing that, it's usually 30-40 something year old ladies who are just interested in the social aspect and catching up with friends who sit and tailgate while their husbands go into the game. If you're not causing any disruptions then what is the problem? Tailgating should never be "closed".
I know the construction around the Dome has tailgating kind of spread out to several different lots but that isn't always a bad thing either as it allows people to find a place that suits them. I just don't want to get to a point where University Police make it a Gestapo like atmosphere. I've personally never had any issues, University Police have always been polite and won't bother you unless you are out of control and doing something that could cause harm to others (and I don't think I've ever seen anything like that happen). Contain and respond rather than initiating contact is the best course of action for crowd control IMO.

Who owns the lots just north of the Prairie? University needs to buy those up. Perfect parking lot for Dome and SCSC.

"Simmons vs KSU '18 24/56 (42%) for 257 yards 1 TD / 0 INT/ long completion of 34 yards - 6 different receivers caught balls - 4 drives that were 3 and out" Simmons stats from KSU. It was stated earlier in the thread somebody counted 7 dropped passes. I also saw way too many dropped passes. I didn't count them, so I'll just go with the 7 number. If the receivers catch the dang ball when it hits their hands that completion percentage goes to 31/56 for 55%. That's a big difference and we are probably not having this conversation debating Simmons accuracy. I don't even know where this conversation about accuracy came from as I seem to remember him making some beautiful passes last year, tough passes that were right on the money. I think we're all just getting too worked up about this. I seem to remember Strev singlehandedly giving a game to UND his junior year by repeatedly hitting the UND defensive backs on the out route for easy pick 6's. So sometimes great QB's have rough games and we shouldn't read too much into a single performance. Fair point. But I do think there is a legit question to be asked about all the dropped balls - what was going on there? Even our sr all-conf pick... Speed of the game. They were playing against an opponent where everything was happening faster than normal. Everything is condensed and moving faster, no time or space. It effects timing and just about everything including simply catching the ball. Take your eye of the pass just a little because you are peeking up field because you know a defender is closing on you, dropped pass.

Fine with the league selling 2 years in advance, though I do think that us a little far out and a year is more appropriate. Not fine with the grandfathering in of current ticket holders. The entire market should be re-opened up and all seats up for grabs. If SDSU fans pounce on all the tickets, more power to them, but every other fanbase should have the opportunity to buy premier seats in the lower bowl given the change in venue and change in conference members over the last several seasons.

Worth noting all USD home games have a free live stream at goyotes.com. You will be stuck with JVG calling the action as opposed to getting Jay Elsen on the Midco feed via ESPN+ though. That is good to know as I will be travelling this weekend and will miss the home opener. (Only home game I will miss this year!)
