Ok, I'm gonna get bold. If ANY player on the team reads this board, or their dad and they'll pass it on, I have one thing to say to you.
I'M CALLING YOU OUT.
I'm calling you out to play with enthusiasm, with conviction, and with the belief you can win every game you play in from here on out. Quite frankly, I don't give a crap if you don't like your position coach, or the coordinators, right now they are your coaches, and you BOTH deserve better than what you got. For Gods sake, if someone does something good, or great, as a TEAM high five, chest bump, whatever it is you do, but celebrate. Pump up. I love you guys, but you're playing scared and dumb. Play enthused and smart, and see what the results are.
It's time to quit brooding and pissing and moaning...make $hit happen. Knock someone's block off. Throw a 90 yard pass. Kick someone's a$$. But for gods sake quit playing like you don't give a shit. This Saturday is the first Saturday of the rest of the season. Make it count.
Your head coach spear headed a fund raising drive to buy "cool uniforms" and helmets so it's more fun. He even paid for a large amount of it. So fellas, it's time to pay Coach Glenn back. Play like a damned football team. Back each other up. Pump each other up. You got a scholarship because you can play the game.
QUIT FEELING SORRY FOR YOUR SELVES. GO OUT AND PUNCH A BISON IN THE MOUTH. MAYBE TWICE.
I'm sick of it, and I damned well know you are, so do something about it. Earn some frickin respect.

One, if we don't mentally change, you'll beat us by 35, maybe more. However, if someone sticks some dynamite in their arse, we will beat you Saturday. You either blow us out, or we beat you. I'm banking on the win. How about other coyote fans? With me? If I have to change the damn karma myself, I'm gonna try. I'm begging our crowd to be like they never have been before. I say we shock The Valley

From what you have seen from the Coyotes so far this season, give me an assessment on how they will beat the Bison. The Bison are clicking in all three phases right now and the defense is playing lights out. USD folded up really bad in the 2nd half versus SIU and NDSU destroyed SIU. Now will NDSU shut out USD at home? Probably not but from what I have seen from the Coyotes, they need numerous Bison mistakes to win the game. Can USD match up physically with the Bison on the lines? Will USD stack the box to stop the run? Can the USD offense move the ball against the best defense in the FCS? Pretty interesting what your athletic department has done with ticket availability for this game....

It's college football and anyone can beat any team, plus we are playing at home. Upsets happen, and they're called upsets for a reason. There is no real analysis one can do on these teams that will point to why the Yotes should win, but when you are putting a bunch of 20 year olds out there sometimes crazy stuff happens.

Bison 42 Coyotes 10 John Crockett continues to show why he is the best RB in the MVFC
Need to see more out of the Bison second string than last Saturday against Indiana St.

I want to be optimistic about this game, but I just don’t see any way for the Yotes to pull this one off. I just hope we can get a TD, and that is sad.
NDSU 31 USD 3

Pretty interesting what your athletic department has done with ticket availability for this game.... Let's keep bitching about the ticket situation. It's a road game for you guys! Wouldn't it make sense that the home team should have the first and most opportunities to buy seats? You've had some good years recently, and your fan base reflects that. I get it, the bison have a better football program than the coyotes. I know we all hate saying it out loud, but it's true. Doesn't make me love the coyotes any less. Now this is just my opinion, but I'd imagine several others on this board would agree with me. I am VERY tired of bison fans acting like we should roll out the red carpet for them. You can't expect people to pucker up and usher you to the front of the line everywhere you go. Just accept the fact that coyote fans are excited about this game too and the administration thought we deserved the opportunity to buy them. We played in Fargo last year. I know a lot of coyote fans that wanted to make the trip but just couldn't get tickets. This is our year to play at home. You had one last year, and you will get one again next year. I know it's not fair the bison can't play at home every week. It's part of traveling to away games, tickets are going to be harder to get. Time to grow up and accept that other schools have fans too.

Jay Elsen tweets that Trevor Bouma broke a bone in his arm and is out for the season. Does that mean we might actually see Jordan Roberts get some carries?

I think the final score is NDSU 31 USD 14 and USD actually puts up a fight. call me crazy, but this is what I think.
Now Im gonna ACT like its gonna be NDSU 58 USD 0 like last year or 2 years ago.
should be a fun time, ive never been to vermillion before so what the hell.

The comment above from logicfan about needing to see more out of the Bizun 2nd string than he saw against Indiana State is why people can't stand a lot NDSU's fans. Although USD hasn't done much to earn any respect in the Valley right now, even from a poster like logicfan, these guys are still working their tails off. Taking pot shots from a guy who hasn't seen his member in 15 years and couldn't knock out 20 push-ups is just a by-product of that lack of respect...along with years of binge drinking and his parents being cousins, but I digress.
I'm hoping this week is a classic case of "the pride before the fall" and that USD does to the Bizun what it did to a #1 ranked Eastern Washington team a few years ago in the Dome. That won't happen though unless the Yotes believe in themselves and one another and play inspired and shake up the game plan. I was happy to see a down and out Western Illinois team couldn't hang on to beat NDSU in Macomb a few weeks ago, losing 17-10 as it preserved the chance at ending the streak for the Coyotes.
That W.Ill. team wasn't getting any respect at all up to that point and look what they did. They went on to beat Youngstown State after that and lost by 3 to Ill. State on Saturday. It's a David vs. Goliath proposition anyway you slice it, but at some point the NDSU streak will end and the Bizun will get beat, no matter how many of their fans are in the stands. It's not up to the coaches, to me, to yoteforever, to some guy claiming to use logic, or to anyone else as to whether this Coyote team will be the team that ends that streak. It's only up to the 11 Coyotes on the field.
Talk is cheap. Message board banter is worth even less. Just Go Get It Done.

#1 ive never heard of "logic fan" could he be a sdsu dip#hit?
#2 talk is cheap? NDSU is 31-0 and 50-2 in last 3-4 years dude, pretty sure that " Just Go Get It Done. " has been getting done.
#3 Western Illinois game turned when WR Zach Vraa went out in 2nd quarter and our O Coord refused to stop running the ball even though wiu had 9 guys in the box.

I read that 60% NDSU......but have a hard time believing that. You all think it was supposed to be 60% USD? And is this guy credible?

The Coyotes need to play smart and MAD Saturday and the crowd needs to be wild and not just on 3rd down but whenever the Bzon O has the ball. I was at a playoff game at the dome in 1985 when the Yotes beat Central States (Ohio) 13-10 in 2OTs. That day the dome was as loud as I've ever seen. If fact with the rules in those days the Coyote crowd actually got penalized and warned again after that for being too loud. So let's make life miserable for the boys from the frigid north!!!
