Yotes score a too little too late touchdown to make it 38-26 after a missed 2 point conversion.

We haven't been competitive in conference for the last 11 games. 9 straight double digit losses. I thought the 90's were tough. This is worse and it isn't going to get any better soon. The talent isn't there folks. We have a few nice pieces but nothing near a roster that can even be 500. I don't know if the talent is there or not. What I do know is that both talent and coaching falls on Joe Glenn's shoulders. He is the one that decides which players play and he is the one who decides how to do the coaching as well. Joe is the ultimate CEO of the program. Glenn has had chance enough to get his players in place. I personally don't think it's a talent issue any more than it is a coaching issue. It could be both but who really cares. Either way it's not nearly good enough.

The Yotes will show up next weekend. Knocking the Bunnies out of the playoff would let the Yotes end the season on a positive note. Despite all the injuries, the one thing the Yotes showed today was the desire to keep fighting. Unbelievable the number of injuries the Yotes have suffered this year. When even Bergner gets a concussion, you know the Yotes cannot catch a break. I predict that Yotes get hammered good next week. They might show up in body but I really wonder emotionally how they are going to fight. It's likely going to be cold so I wouldn't be surprised if the team just kind of packed it in and made it rather easy on the Rabbits. SDSU 38-10 sounds about right.

Pick 6 by the Redbirds with 9 seconds left. 45-26 will be the final. Isn't that just a fitting way to end the game.

Unfortunately the losses are not just losses but getting dominated on a weekly basis. The injuries don't help but honestly such injuries wouldn't change the butt whippings we are taking. I ask you to watch the preseason video between Coach Glenn, Mick and Zimmer. Let me know what you think after watching the same. That video alone was the hint that this season/program is still stuck in neutral.

What's left to say? I'm confident David Herbster will be initiating some major changes here by the end of the month. He wasn't willing to sit pat with Joey James, no way he tolerates what we have seen here. I can't imagine Joe wants to come back next season anyways, I just hope the players give him a good send off

Could the staffs of other schools in the Valley coach this team better?

Well according to DOE records sdsu spends 2.72 and USD spends 2.68m. Most schools are in the 2.6 to 3m range. Ndsu and youngstown spend in 3.7 to 4m range. This amount doesn't include non school spending.

Glenn from what I have heard is certainly coming back if he chooses to. I do not think he will fire any of his staff. They will either turn it around next year together or not.

I've really got no problem with Glenn coming back, but there is no way we can move forward with the current support staff, and Joe Glenn seems like he would rather retire than tell anyone that they are fired. I'm sure it is his decision whether or not he is still coach next year, he just seems worn out though. It's been a very taxing season.
We managed to lose every conference game this year by double digits in the third year under this staff. There is almost nothing that kindles optimism for the future, there is just no way we can roll out the same staff next year. If nothing changes I'm not gonna bother paying the price of season tickets to shake my head for three hours every Saturday.

Third down efficiency of 5 for 14 won't cut it.

What I was happy about is the players didn't quit, they did play hard today. That was CLEARLY a better team. They are good. Our rushing sucked and our first quarter sucked, but after that we actually battled better than weeks past. We played without a bunch of key guys today. I'm actually not that disappointed about today's effort. It could have been way worse if we folded and quit.
