Do we have more walk ons this year? I know a lot of schools do not list their walk ons in their roster pages but it looks like state lists their's. Just curious if we list them anywhere and if we are starting to get a lot more walk ons?

Cuz, can you update the first page of commits and remove Jean-Claude, Antonio Jones-Davis, and Howard Houston and then add Matt Johnson? It now appears Howard is a lost cause and is bound for the FBS after he tweeted yesterday from a Cal home women's basketball game against USC yesterday.

Cuz, can you update the first page of commits and remove Jean-Claude, Antonio Jones-Davis, and Howard Houston and then add Matt Johnson? It now appears Howard is a lost cause and is bound for the FBS after he tweeted yesterday from a Cal home women's basketball game against USC yesterday. Foothill College is only an hour away from Cal, so I don't know if I'd draw any conclusions from that |

We've seen too many kids come through here that you can tell never really bought in to what we are trying to accomplish. I would call this kid up and give him 24 hours to talk it over with his family and decide whether he's in or out. |

That's easy to say when his decision has no bearing on your job or financial well being. Obviously, the coaches feel that he is a good enough prospect to be strung along by. I agree that it is frustrating, but lets trust the coaches and their decision to stick with the kid, since they're the ones with their butts on the line. Go Yotes! |

NIU fan here. As a recruiting geek I must say I'm really impressed with your 2015 recruiting class. I loved Nate Gunn and Romontay Hill and hoped they would end up at NIU, you got some good ones there. Your QB looks terrific too as does the rest of the class. I think you'll have a lot of fun watching this group develop. The Valley is my second favorite conference behind the MAC, I know all about the great football played there. Sorry about Antonio Jones-Davis by the way. If it's any consolation we get 3 or 4 guys poached like that every year, often by the same schools. We're looking at you Wisconsin. Anyway good luck in 2015!

Thanks NIU. It stinks about Antonio Jones-Davis, but it is a part of recruiting. I wish him the best at NIU and good luck this upcoming season.

I too can understand why he chose NIU. They have done a great job building that program these last few years and any guy that can play at NIU would have beeen a nice addition to the U.
