They are building their program from the ground up. Coach Nielsen won big at Duluth and is doing it again the correct way in Macomb. I saw the game when we played them and I thought they were very good. I thought they might best the Jacks last week for two reasons. The first SDSU's travel woes and secondly because they have the talent.

Best of luck to Montana in their rematch in Fargo, they're gonna need it.

Some of the credit goes to SDSU for continuing to fight even when down big at the half but overall Montana didn't look like a team that can go into Fargo and fight that beast

I'm well aware of that game. Crazier things have happened, but I'm expecting a 14+ point win for NDSU

It's a much better day to be a Coyote vs a Jack. Our teams both had impressive wins and the Jacks lost in football and their mens basketball lost to UMKC.

Kinda like how it was better for SDSU to lose to USD in the SL Tournament so they could play in the WNIT?

NDSU leading Montana 31-6 with 1 minute left in the 3rd. The thought that Montana needed a miracle to hang with these guys again seems to have been correct.
Illinois State over WIU 36-19. Coach Nielsen is free to talk with USD now if he chooses.
UNI playing at Portland State tonight at 9.

Then vaunted BIG SKY CONFERENCE is done for the year. Three teams from the MVC are still alive, and probably would've been four if two of them hadn't had to play each other. We aren't that far off from being a playoff team, but we have a great ways to go to be national contenders. The journey has begun.

Put the MVFC in all four corners of the bracket and it might just end up being an all MVFC semifinals. Just a complete joke that they went out of their way to put all teams on the same side of the bracket.

Agree Yotes. Same thing happened with the NCC after 1986 when NDSU and the Coyotes met in the D2 National Championship game in Florence, AL. NCC teams were not put in different brackets again. Obviously it should always be done by seeding and let whatever happens happen.
