That would mean our starting QB is ineligible? Our starting QB is a graduate transfer... meaning he can play immediately. No rules on grad transfers sitting out. Thanks tator. So what is the rule for an undergrad transfering from FBS to FCS?

From NCAA.org If you are a student-athlete who plays football, you may be able to compete immediately if you meet ANY of the following conditions: You are transferring from a Football Bowl Subdivision college to a Football Championship Subdivision college and have at least two seasons of eligibility remaining.

I think recent MVFC examples you could look to would be King Frazier at NDSU and Brion Carnes at UNI, both transfers from Nebraska who probably don't sit out a year.

Reading over the game notes for Saturday ( www.goyotes.com/documents/2016/9/6//2_WSU.pdf?id=2021) and came across this wonderful tidbit: Another stat I didn't realize is that USD has won 13 straight home openers and is 32-5 all-time in home openers at the Dakota Dome. I got a feeling we make it 14 straight in what is likely the most winnable game on our schedule (a testament to the SOS and not a knock on Weber State).

This is a key game to make sure goes down in the win column. This will be the most winnable game of the season. I think everything comes together and the Yotes roll the Wild Cats 42-20. I would like to see the passing look good and the defense to tighten way up. I think the D will be much better.

Can't wait for tomorrow, should be fun to see the atmosphere in the Dome and the tailgate. Really looking forward to seeing fellow Coyotes, awesome to hear about Schable talking to the team after practice. The video they released isn't bad either!

Yotes jump up big early and then plateau while the coaches run a bunch of different combinations of players in. Yotes 37-17.

Those three turnovers for scores in first few mins killed us... Big plays are continuing to hurt us as well... offense looks solid at times as does the defense... huge hurdles to overcome to win yet this afternoon... 35-21 with little over 9 mins left in the 3rd qrtr.

Very little pressure on the QB by the defense is giving them too much time to pick the secondary apart...

Defense finally found their groove in the 4th qrtr. Game tied at the end of regulation.

Great game. A lot of heart shown by the yotes to come back from a bunch of unforced errors to win!
