Other than this game being in Fargo, I don't see any major advantage the Bizon have. Their stat rankings are middle of the conference in most areas (not terrible, not great). They are only shooting 38.2% from the field, 66.1% from the line, and are averaging 65.3 points per game, while giving up 73.5.
I see a relatively high-scoring game. The girls get back to confident shooting, up by 15 at the half, let off the gas a little in the 4rth Q getting some bench minutes, with a final score of 80-70

Game is available on ESPN3 tonight. Last year's game went to OT somehow. Can't really think of any other reason why this one should be competitive.

NDSU gave the Jackrabbit women all they could handle on December 28 losing only by 3 69-66 in Fargo. This isn't the same NDSU team it was last year. The Bizun have a pair of 5'8" junior guards in Thundstedt and Jacobson (sister of AJ Jacobson on men's team) that are talented and they are strong enough elsewhere on the floor to cause plenty of headaches tonight.

Hopefully the Coyotes can get back to getting off to good starts in games. That was kind of a trait of the team during much of the non conference but has been absent during the conference games so far. The Coyotes can make it much easier on themselves but coming out strong and playing with the lead. The longer NDSU stays in it the more their crowd becomes a factor and the more the players gain confidence. They have started the Summit League season strong so far.
I am going to go with a tough win 82-74.

If we can't beat the team that has literally one post player available...

Coyotes not playing well at all. I figured this was going to be a tough game but 21-13 Bison is not good at all. The energy level on defense needs to be much better as the Bison are not being stopped too often by the Red D.

Pretty sure the Bizun are shooting beyond their normal ability against the Lady Yotes. Seems as though everything they throw up is dropping. We are struggling to even get open shots, then when we do, we miss them.

The Coyotes are looking in this game what was feared they would look like before the season started. Very, Very sloppy first half and down by 10 at the break. Ragged all over the court and losing Bison players on the defensive end. I don't remember a game where the Coyotes were so careless with the ball. It looked like the Coyotes were going to really narrow the gap in the 2nd quarter but were not able to really make up any ground. So far in the Summit this year the Yotes have been outplayed fairly severely in the first half of their games. Not a good trend to fall into. There is still plenty of time but maybe for the first time this year Dawn might need to do a little extra chewing at halftime. The Bison are growing up in a hurry.
