Scoring offense #1 NDSU Scoring Defense #1 NDSU Total Defense #1 NDSU There is a big game brewing in Fargo. Not taking anything away from the success of the Bison, but the combined record of their opponents so far this year is 8-18. The only team they've played of any significance is Eastern Washington (currently ranked 9 in Coaches Poll). I don't know if we know how good the Bison really are until they play Youngstown at Youngstown this weekend. I'm sure feathers will get ruffled in Fargoland because I dared to question the legitimacy of the almighty, omnipotent Bison... but I think their #1 rankings are coming from not having faced any significant offenses yet (E Washington excluded).

As far as I am concerned, the Bison have earned the benefit of the doubt as far as polls go. USD just needs to take care of business each week and then the polls will work themselves out to what they should be. I think NDSU makes a statement this weekend and wins by two TDs+

Scoring offense #1 NDSU Scoring Defense #1 NDSU Total Defense #1 NDSU There is a big game brewing in Fargo. If NDSU had played the schedule the Coyotes have played I don't think these numbers would hold up. NDSU certainly has a valid arugment to be the best team in the country but their gaudy numbers are somewhat as a result of their schedule.

USD is one-dimensional and is a Streveler injury away from sucking. No talent.
Bowling Green sucks.
UND sucks.
WIU was a fluke and we almost blew it.
YSU is far more talented and, if not for some coaching lapses, wins Saturday with ease. They beat us 9 times out of 10.
---------------------------------------
God I hope to keep hearing and reading these things. Stay hungry, fellas!

Wow...i was like flabbergasted when I started reading that until I figured out you were being fecious. I might add "if they weren't stacking the box ", which we weren't... and " if we had our starting QB"...could've would've should've... It's a W!

The Bison have had their defensive depth tested. Injury wise they lost a number of significant players. The easier games were loaded on the front end. This gave the talented depth chart a chance at some competitive reps. They are seasoned veterans now. scout.com/college/north-dakota-state/Article/Upon-Film-Review-NDSU-vs-ISUb-108683441Links to a film review of the Bison Indiana game. Good use of short film clips to demonstrate his points. Great feature. Would be good for any team.

"He's not that fast and is not a pure thrower by any means" - Poster on ISUr fan forum.
I can see saying he is not a pure thrower, but if you think Streveler isn't fast you are not watching.

"It's just one national championship" Seriously, this team could win out through Frisco and it is still going to be discounted by everyone...on fan boards. Me thinks the opposing MVFC fans aren't thrilled at USD's prospects with Bob at the helm. 2nd year and the team is already looking like a national contender.

The bunny faithful for certain, and everyone else for that matter, should just get it over with and go to church, light a candle and pray for Streveler to get hurt because that's basically what they're wishing for on their boards. Pretty low class. I think they would be sadly surprised at how good Simmons is and that we wouldn't miss a beat. Here's hoping for a healthy season to all players on all teams.

Such a shame that injuries have affected him so greatly at the end of his career. He's the heart of this defense, but now it's next man up.
